I wasn't interested, but I bought it from a YouTuber's market known for acne-prone skin solutions. After using the Blemish version, I tried the Tea Tree one. Post-cleanse, it feels much fresher with a slight cooling effect. Didn't notice much difference with just a couple of blemishes, but when my skin was really acting up, I felt it had some effect. Texture: Powder type, creates very light foam when mixed with water. Quantity: Might seem small, but lasts longer than expected. Use about 0.3g per wash (2/3 of a small coin), approximately 166 uses per container. Scent: Cool tea tree fragrance, slightly strong. Price: Got a great deal through the market, but without discounts, it's not cheap. The Blemish version often has sales, but the Tea Tree one rarely does.
Cons1. Can be slightly irritating when used alone. 2. Compared to the Blemish version, it creates lighter foam and doesn't lather as richly. (You need to use relatively more to create the same amount of foam)
TipDon't use it alone! Mix a small amount with a moisturizing or gentle foam cleanser. This reduces irritation, prevents dryness, and still helps calm blemishes slightly.

Thankfully, I also received the Tea Tree enzyme powder through The Hwahae Testers program! Since it contains tea tree extract, I loved how it left my skin feeling fresh after cleansing. The fine powder has some small granules, but they weren't bothersome when massaging the product. After removing makeup with cleansing pads, I use this as a second cleanser instead of foam. With foam cleansers, my face would feel tight and often have dead skin cells left behind, requiring multiple washes. However, with this enzyme powder, my skin feels smooth and exfoliated after just one wash. It seems to brighten my complexion too, though that might be temporary from the exfoliation.
ConsWhile it's good as is, it would be even better if the lather was a bit richer.
TipSince it's not a type that produces a lot of foam, use a generous amount of powder and rub it thoroughly between your hands to create lather. I've been applying the foam to my face, waiting about 3 minutes, then rinsing it off - apparently, this method can give you the benefits of an enzyme mask too!

My skin would go haywire! So I just stopped exfoliating altogether. But when the seasons changed, my skin got really dry and the dead skin cells started piling up. I saw a YouTube video recommending enzyme powder for gentle exfoliation and deep cleansing, and I was curious to try it. Luckily, I was chosen by The Hwahae Testers to review this product! It definitely seems less irritating than other exfoliants. I was worried the powder might be too abrasive, but most of it dissolves in water, leaving only tiny particles that don't feel harsh at all. After using it, my skin feels noticeably softer and smoother. I didn't notice any particular scent with this product.
ConsSince it's a powder type, it doesn't create a rich lather. I'm considering using a foam maker to see if that helps.
TipWith my sensitive skin, I'm only using this once or twice a week. After each use, I make sure to layer on plenty of hydration!

It has a tea tree and mint scent, and the refreshing sensation makes you feel invigorated! It wasn't irritating at all. The foam formation is quite interesting - while it doesn't create an abundance of lather, the foam feels soft and plump, so even as someone who loves rich lather, I wasn't disappointed. Being a powder, it's lightweight for its volume, making it convenient to carry around!
ConsControlling the amount can be a bit tricky. If you use too little, you won't get enough foam, and if you use too much, some powder might fall into the sink when you're trying to work up a lather. If you have super sensitive skin, you might find the astringent quality of the tea tree or the slight graininess a bit irritating.

Having atopic skin, I usually avoid harsh products and only gently remove blackheads and dead skin cells with oil. So, it's been a while since I've used a product with granules. I found out it contains walnut shell, but surprisingly, it's much less irritating than I expected and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. It retains moisture and even helps with blemishes, so I'm using it quite happily!
ConsEverything's good, but it doesn't seem to be the type that produces a rich, dense lather. It might be that I'm not using the right amount, but compared to squeeze-type foam cleansers, it's probably hard to expect an abundant foam from this one.
TipIt seems that rubbing it thoroughly between your hands to create enough foam before use helps reduce irritation and keeps the skin hydrated!

No dryness As I have super sensitive skin, I use various cleansers depending on the situation. Recently, due to my upcoming period, I've been experiencing more redness, dead skin cells, and dryness - my skin's at its most sensitive. I was worried about using this, especially since I have a tea tree cleanser that's good at removing oil but leaves my skin too dry. However, this one leaves my skin feeling incredibly moisturized after use. It retains hydration and isn't irritating, which I love. 2. Gentle While tea tree is great for its antibacterial properties against blemishes, it can feel a bit harsh when my skin is sensitive. This product, however, feels as gentle as prescription products. I was surprised that my face wasn't red after washing! 3. Powder formula This is both a pro and a con. Being a powder product makes me feel more at ease, and the ingredients look good. It resembles powdered detergent a bit, but it feels more effective - maybe it's just my imagination! I like that it's a powder product. 4. Cleansing effectiveness While it's expected from a cleanser, my dermatologist strongly advises against multiple cleansings for my skin type. On days when I wear heavy makeup, I usually remove eye makeup separately, but this cleanser removes everything well. I didn't expect much from a functional cleanser, but its cleansing power is so good that I can finish everything in one go, which is really convenient.
Cons1. Lather You need a bit more product than expected, and it doesn't dissolve well in cold water, so it doesn't lather easily. You need to use lukewarm water and rub it several times to create enough foam to apply.

The Papa Recipe product felt extra special because it contains tea tree extract! First off, I was satisfied with how the powder transforms into a soft, creamy texture when mixed with water. It gently exfoliates dead skin cells without irritation, leaving my skin smooth as a peeled egg! I often worry about exfoliating products irritating my skin, but this enzyme powder with added tea tree extract not only refines skin texture but also provides a soothing effect, which I love. The after-feel isn't squeaky clean, but slightly slippery. As someone with dry skin, I was pleased that it didn't leave my skin feeling tight after cleansing. I'll also include the pleasant, cool tea tree scent as a positive point - it made the cleansing experience even more enjoyable!
ConsThe lather wasn't as rich as I expected. If you need a lot of foam, you might end up using more product than intended.
TipPerfect for managing dead skin cells in spring and fall, use 1-2 times a week for gentle exfoliation without irritation.

Recently, due to blemishes popping up and the humid weather causing open pores, I needed a cleanser that felt more refreshing. The Tea Tree Control Enzyme Powder Cleanser was perfect for this. It not only exfoliates dead skin cells without irritation but also gives a soothing sensation as if it's lowering skin temperature. I love how my skin feels smooth after cleansing without any irritation or dryness. It's ideal for morning cleansing or when you don't need deep cleansing, especially for washing a makeup-free face. It leaves your complexion feeling soft and velvety.
ConsDue to the nature of enzyme powder cleansers, it's hard to expect a rich lather. Although I'm aware of this when using it, it's disappointing that I end up using more product than necessary.
TipFor best results, work up a lather and leave it on your face for 30 seconds to 1 minute before rinsing. This method leaves your skin feeling extra clean and bright.

The powder dissolves quickly in water and lathers well. When rubbed on the face, you can feel the granules, but they're small enough not to be irritating. - The finish strikes a balance between squeaky clean and soft. It's not overly drying, nor does it leave a residual oily feeling. I was satisfied with how it leaves the skin adequately moisturized without any residue. - Great for gentle daily exfoliation. Perfect for those who find it bothersome to exfoliate separately 1-2 times a week. You can use it as your daily cleansing foam for ongoing management. Rather than dramatic results after one use, it's ideal for gradual dead skin cell management. - It has a cooling effect, making it perfect for summer or when your face feels flushed. Using less water enhances the cooling sensation, while more water creates a gentler experience. Adjust the water amount to your preference. - Despite being a powder, the wide opening doesn't cause spills as you might worry. Gently shaking the tilted container releases small amounts, making it easy to control the quantity.
Cons- You need to use more product than expected for good cleansing effectiveness and lather. You'll need at least a 500 won coin-sized amount, so it might run out quickly. - While it lathers well, the foam isn't particularly rich or dense. This isn't a major issue for me, but those who prioritize foam quality should take note. - Unlike typical cleansing foams, being a powder means you need to be careful not to let water enter the container when dispensing. - It's not easy to visually gauge how much product is left. - It has a medicinal scent. The strong mint fragrance might be overwhelming for some people.

The subtle blend of tea tree and peppermint scents was lovely. With tea tree as an ingredient, I felt confident using it for soothing and tackling blemishes. It seems perfect for this transitional weather we're having. I loved that my skin didn't feel dry after cleansing.
ConsThe peppermint ingredient made my whole face feel hot. While it wasn't exactly painful, the granules did feel a bit harsh on my skin. The lather wasn't very rich, so I had to shake out the powder several times. Even with vigorous rubbing, the granules didn't completely dissolve. While it removed BB cream well, it struggled with tints, mascara, and heavier makeup. I'm a bit worried about the powder getting damp and clumping. I'm not sure how to store it properly, so I'm keeping it in my room instead of the bathroom.
TipBeing a powder type, it's super lightweight and easy to portion out for travel or on-the-go use.
