I use this as a base color and I love it! The velvet texture doesn't smudge easily, barely settles into fine lines, and has impressive staying power. As someone who's been dealing with cheilitis for about 2 years, I finally found a tint that works perfectly for me without any lip or cheilitis symptoms! The color is a perfect match for my cool-toned skin. I used to think my lips needed to be moisturized when I had cheilitis, so I mainly used lip balms and glowy tints. However, those (especially R* tints) actually made my lips worse. Even though my lips aren't in great condition and I was hesitant to use a tint with Red 202, I'm now on my second bottle without any issues! Since I prefer matte finishes, I didn't have any complaints. Also, I usually apply emulsion and moisturizer to my lips during skincare, so I don't have much dead skin cells and didn't experience any issues with emphasizing flakiness. I highly recommend this for cool-toned individuals, especially those with a light undertone! While lip balms and glowy tints don't work well for me, matte tints might not suit everyone. Be cautious as it contains Red 202. If you experience any adverse reactions when using it, stop immediately!
