I bought this based on recommendations for a cool-toned under-eye base. For light skin with a light undertone, it felt slightly warm. However, it absorbs well and has a smooth application. I appreciated that it wasn't irritating to the delicate eye area. This product is a bit perplexing - it's too warm for cool-toned makeup looks, yet too cool for warm-toned ones. I'm unsure how to incorporate it into my routine effectively. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 14, 2024
It's so amazing, just buy it already! My undereye area and dark circles were so dull that even with dark cover concealer, I still looked gloomy. But after applying dark cover and then drawing with this, blending it in, you get naturally radiant aegyo sal (cute eye bags). Plus, it absorbs so well! There are no downsides. If you have dull undereye areas, just go ahead and purchase it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2024
I have a condition where I'll die if I don't brighten my aegyo sal! Other products were either too white or had a yellowish tint that didn't suit me, but Cool Beige is exactly as described - a pinkish beige or light pink? It's perfect for swiping on as an aegyo sal base. It's also ideal for filling in the under-eye area. The application isn't super smooth or effortless, but it's not uncomfortable at all. It definitely has better adherence than the Too Cool For School Prota-ju, so the staying power is quite good. Since it's shimmer-free, I can apply it liberally for a subtle makeup look on my daily routine days. I wouldn't recommend this for those with very fair skin as it might not show up at all. For those with darker skin tones, it might look a bit ashy, so I'd advise against it. It's slightly matte, which can cause some creasing in under-eye wrinkles, and it tends to clump if applied to the inner corners of the eyes. You'll need to gently blend it out. Be careful, as the product can break easily if you apply too much pressure. Using this as a base and then layering your point color on top enhances the color payoff and improves longevity. I like to use this as a base and then apply Pink Quartz on top - it's a winning combination! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 11, 2023
The color is beautiful and it absorbs well. It feels like the original linen beige shade with a hint of pink added. It's supposed to be for shades 19-21, but when I apply it to my eyelids, it's completely invisible. I'm not sure why. It doesn't seem to be that similar in brightness to my complexion, and there's no issue with how it absorbs. For some reason, this color just doesn't show up on my aegyo sal at all. I had high expectations, so I'm quite disappointed. If you have a lighter skin tone than mine, you might be better off using a pearl gel instead. Unlike other shades, this is a non-waterproof product, so the staying power isn't great either... It's such a letdown.
