I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and powdery. It goes on incredibly thin, which is a great feature. Plus, it's so convenient to carry around! I didn't really notice any major benefits. It doesn't leave my skin feeling as soft and powdery as I'd hoped, which is a bit disappointing. - ju*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJun 7, 2025
✨ Summer Cool Light / Shade 21-22 / Dry, Sensitive Skin ✨ Bargain Price I snagged this for just 13,860 won! Overall Impression The compact size fits perfectly in my hand, making it super convenient to carry around and apply on-the-go! In summer, I'm extra diligent about applying sun protection, but sticky formulas can make you feel even hotter. I was on the hunt for a sunscreen with a powder-fresh finish when I stumbled upon this gem. Let me tell you, it's incredibly matte - it feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. Actually, my skin feels even more velvety smooth than when it's bare! I can't wait to bring this to baseball games. I was thoroughly satisfied with the overall experience and can't think of any downsides. This review highlights the product's portability, its suitability for summer use, and its exceptionally matte finish. The reviewer emphasizes how the product leaves the skin feeling even more velvety than bare skin, which is particularly appealing for those with dry or sensitive skin types. The mention of bringing it to baseball games suggests its effectiveness in outdoor settings. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 4, 2025
After using this product, I was amazed at how it left absolutely no residue - to the point where I wondered if I had applied it at all! It finishes with a matte, powder-like texture without any shine, and there's no feeling of dryness or richness. It's truly a product that feels like you're wearing nothing at all, making it perfect for those who absolutely hate any lingering sensation on their skin. I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike fragranced products, as the scent is quite strong. However, the fragrance is only noticeable during application and doesn't linger afterwards, so it didn't bother me too much. Due to the product's firm texture, I'd suggest applying it to the neck or body rather than the face, where the contours might make it challenging to spread evenly. - lu*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 1, 2025
The compact size makes it easy to apply to all the contours of your face. It absorbs well with a smooth application. It seems a bit pricey for the amount you get. I wish they would increase the volume. - sl******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2024
I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and matte. It works great under makeup without causing any pilling. It's perfect for everyday use, as long as your skin isn't extremely dry. Since it's a stick type, the product seems to run out quickly, making me feel like there's not enough quantity. - kk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 20, 2024
It doesn't feel like I'm applying anything to my face. The scent is reminiscent of fresh grass. The case durability is disappointing. It feels loose and rattles. The downside is you can't use it up completely. - su*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 18, 2024
I've always preferred stick sunscreens, so I've tried various products since my twenties. The Dincy product is not only portable, but it also has a ceramic-like material and a slightly weighty design that's absolutely gorgeous (I'm always a sucker for design over function). The slanted shape makes it easy to apply in tricky areas like around the nose and T-zone, and all over the face. I thought it would be about the size of a Nivea lip balm, but it's actually larger, so the amount is just right. Above all, it's moisturizing and all-in-one, making it perfect for rushing out when you can't even apply emulsion. As someone with dry skin, I didn't feel any oiliness, tightness, or discomfort even after wearing it for a while. There's no white cast and it's not sticky. I love that it doesn't stick to my hair! Usually, a few hours after applying sunscreen, my skin feels a bit tight or heavy, which I really hate, but with the Dincy product, the moisturizing effect lasts quite long, and I'm satisfied. There was no tightness. I rarely wear makeup, so I'm not sure how it would work under foundation or cushion, but the product itself seems to have a primer-like effect that covers skin texture and pores, so I think foundation would apply nicely over it. I've been eyeing Dincy since its initial release and would like to try a few more products (like the two tone-up sunscreens), but I'll need to keep an eye out for any milia or blemishes. For a vegan product, the ingredients list looks like a chemistry lab, typical of chemical sunscreens. I was prepared for it not being a mineral sunscreen, but there are quite a few questionable ingredients for such a pricey product. I'm a bit puzzled about how it received French vegan certification with these ingredients. It's full of skin conditioning agents and preservatives, plus plenty of synthetic silicone ingredients for smooth application, but did they really need to add mica on top of that? There are concerns about potential carcinogens derived from microplastics, minerals, or petroleum sources, so even trace amounts should be monitored carefully. There are also silicone ingredients and potentially toxic ingredients that could disrupt the endocrine system, but if the company were to disclose the residual levels of these ingredients, they might not be a significant issue for use. Looking at the product advertisements, they emphasize antioxidant, brightening, and anti-wrinkle effects, but examining the ingredients list on Hwahae, I think the amount of functional ingredients is extremely small (they're way down the list). While I can acknowledge that the hydration and moisture levels are appropriate for summer, promoting '100% wrinkle improvement satisfaction!' based on an experiment with just 20 subjects seems a bit exaggerated, which actually lowers the brand's credibility. While it may not be a major issue, there are just too many ingredients to be cautious about, like synthetic silicones and conditioning agents that could cause allergies, so I probably won't repurchase. I'll miss the powdery finish and moisturizing effect, but... I wouldn't recommend this for those with very sensitive skin, oily skin, atopic dermatitis, or acne-prone skin. Pregnant women and children should definitely avoid using it. Even though my skin isn't particularly sensitive, I only use it on normal days and avoid it when my skin feels a bit sensitive or when I'm not in good condition. - ga******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 25, 2024
Easy to apply and convenient to carry for touch-ups. Absorbs well and feels lightweight. Leaves skin feeling soft and fresh without any stickiness. The price is a bit high for the amount you get, so I only purchase it when it's on sale. - ck********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2024
The convenience of a sunstick that you can easily apply is undeniable. What I appreciated most was how it seemed to neatly balance the oil on my face. There was no greasiness or white cast, which made it a great product for me. I used it all the way to the bottom, but it's a bit disappointing that you can't dig out the product from the stick part. It feels like there's still some left, which is a shame. If you prefer products that give a dramatic change to your face or have some level of white cast, you might want to think twice about this one. As for me, I've used up a whole tube! For those who prefer products that dramatically transform their complexion or provide a bit of white cast, you might want to consider your options carefully. Personally, I've gone through an entire tube! - ye******Normal SkinRecommendedAug 20, 2024
1. The scent is lovely. It's truly wonderful! A subtle herbal fragrance! 2. It leaves skin feeling soft and powdery. True to its 'no sebum' name, there's zero stickiness. 3. There's a sort of essence in the center? They say it's good for the skin. 4. Perfect size to carry around and apply. This summer, I kept reapplying this sunstick and barely got tanned. 5. The slanted shape makes it easy to apply along skin contours. There's a lot of cream left inside the stick, but you can't dig out the parts beyond the exposed portion. It's disappointing that so much product goes to waste. I tried scooping it out with a cotton swab (haha), but the formula is so firm that it crumbles, making it difficult to apply to the face. Such a shame! Carry it with you and apply regularly for good skin protection.
