I snatched this up as soon as it was released, confident it would be my go-to 'cool-toned' item for winter! The texture is perfect for matte lip lovers - it's powdery and velvety! It goes on a bit heavier and thicker than Rom&nd's Blur Fudge, which I prefer. If you're not a fan of the typical thin, oily texture of matte lipsticks (like me), this will be your holy grail. As for the color, it's a cool-toned shade that works wonders for those with slightly yellowish skin who want to try plum but can't pull off very purple tones. It's a muted red that's incredibly versatile. Regarding longevity, since it's not a staining product, you might need to reapply if you use your lips a lot. However, the texture makes it easy to touch up, so it's not a big issue if you reapply occasionally. There's honestly nothing I dislike about this product. If I absolutely had to mention something, it might be that those with thin lips may need to be careful with the amount they apply. - mu****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 24, 2024
Calling all deep autumn beauties, this one's for you! It's a vivid, deep, deep red shade - the quintessential autumn color. Comparing it to Rom&nd's Villain Best (top) and Plum Pudding (bottom), this is definitely deeper with a hint of plum mixed in, creating a rich, crushed red hue. The color payoff on your lips matches the swatch perfectly. It's tricky to control the amount. Even a tiny pea-sized drop is enough to cover your entire lips. - b_*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedSep 20, 2024
Winter cool-toned deep (dark) / shade 22-23 Low-saturation, low-brightness lips suit me well :) I bought Mauve Brown + Plum Pudding together! - It's a low-saturation, low-brightness lip color, but it's closer to burgundy than plum - It's perfect as an accent color over a base color rather than as a full lip! It's not extremely cool-toned, so it complements any makeup look well - Long-lasting, and after applying this velvet tint, my lips feel less tight, making them more comfortable If your personal color is light undertone/winter cool dark, definitely give this a try! - The blending isn't as smooth as I expected! I usually blend with my fingers, but for this product, using a brush seems to give the prettiest result - The color is closer to burgundy than plum, so if you're very sensitive to warm/cool tones, I'd recommend a product with an even cooler tone than this one! The Mauve Brown + Plum Pudding combination is great! - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 9, 2024
* Yellow shade 21, deep warm undertone, intense lip color, perfect for dry winter lips~ ❣️ It's a plum burgundy color. The shade is deep and alluring. Anyone with a deep skin tone can pull off this color beautifully. (Even Mecop artist Hyerim recommended it as one of the best deep shades) ❣️ The texture is like a soft whipped cream clay. It feels thick, but it's not powdery at all. ❣️ Great staining power, and since I've been using mostly moisturizing formulas lately, it seems to last quite a long time~ ❣️ The case is a half-moon cylinder shape, and I was impressed that the back can be used as a mirror (though it does collect fingerprints easily) As expected, even with lip care, it can be a bit much on dry winter lips... I'm so envious of those who can wear matte lipsticks anytime without issues! While the swatch photo shows a vampy burgundy color, in reality, it's an even deeper plum burgundy. The actual color payoff is incredible! - wj**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2023
It's been a while since I've written a review for a product I bought with my own money! I'm jotting this down because I'm so impressed. As someone who's not great with tones, I suspect I have a deep undertone. I've been using the Cloud Lip Tint Immanence shade as my holy grail for about 3 years, but it seemed to be discontinued. I was at a loss for how to continue my lip nomad life, but I think this product might be the perfect successor. It's like a mix of 90% red and 10% plum, and when you apply it, it creates a killer vibe. I bought it without much expectation, but I was shocked by how stunningly beautiful the color is. Run to Olive Young right now... 3CE truly is a lip product haven, I love it! As a velvet matte texture enthusiast, I have no complaints. However, if you dislike dryness, I wouldn't recommend it. It's a great combination when layered with lighter shades from the same line! I found it pairs well even when applied over a light layer of Warm Brownie. I think it would also complement Butter Beige nicely. Of course, it's beautiful on its own too. The photo shows how it looks applied alone, with zero editing, so it's almost identical to the actual color! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2023
This is my holy grail lip product for cool-toned winter looks! If you're into deep, rich shades that play with both brightness and intensity, you absolutely must try this. Among high-intensity, low-brightness lip colors, nothing else compares. For my dry skin, it felt a bit dehydrating. It has a slightly stiff texture, which makes blending a bit challenging. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 29, 2023
The color is absolutely gorgeous and the pigmentation is fantastic! It's perfect for those with cool undertones! I honestly can't think of any downsides, so if you're seriously considering buying it, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
