This is a transparent oil serum. It's not thick or sticky, but rather has a light consistency. First off, the fragrance of this product is absolutely delightful! It has a slightly tangy yet sweet scent. Just a drop rubbed well between your hands and applied to your hair helps tame frizz. I love how it leaves your hair feeling fresh without any stickiness. It's perfect for dry hair as it feels quite nourishing, so it might not suit those with oily scalps. I have dry, curly hair and use it after drying to control frizz. It leaves my hair smooth without feeling greasy. I had to purchase this through an international buying service, which was a bit challenging. Other than that difficulty in obtaining it, everything else about the product works well for me. It's perfect for curly hair. It's great to use a drop when scrunching your hair after drying to break the cast. I scrunch from bottom to top, and finish with a smoothing motion. Personally, I apply a leave-in conditioner first, then seal in moisture with a drop of jojoba oil, and use this product when breaking the cast. I prefer this method because it gives less of an oily appearance compared to finishing with jojoba oil alone.
