I've been using this for ages! The coverage is truly fantastic, so I've been applying it diligently. But one day, I transferred a bit into a plastic container, and to my dismay, the plastic actually melted and cracked! 😟 While I can't identify all the ingredients, I'm not convinced it's doing my skin any favors. The formulation itself doesn't seem to contain skin-friendly ingredients. It appears this product has some concerning aspects despite its excellent coverage. The fact that it melted a plastic container raises questions about its chemical composition and potential effects on the skin. While it performed well in terms of coverage, the safety and gentleness of the formula are now in doubt. For those with sensitive skin or concerns about ingredient safety, it might be wise to research alternatives or consult with a dermatologist before continued use. - hy******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2025
1. Absorbs well with just the right consistency 2. If you apply a good base, it keeps your skin from feeling dry even after hours 1. The only drawback is that there's nothing particularly disappointing to point out - o_******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 5, 2025
I tried this based on a recommendation and it feels really moisturizing. The texture is just right, and it seems to provide good coverage. The staying power is also quite impressive. Perhaps due to my extremely dry skin, the dryness is still unavoidable. Even though I got Ginger 23, it feels a bit light. It could be because my skin is on the darker side. - wl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2024
As someone who wears makeup regularly, I've tried many products that I've purchased with my own money. This is one of the products I use frequently. I mix it with concealer, and every time I apply it, it feels incredibly hydrating and creates a beautiful complexion! Since it's a moisturizing foundation, it doesn't offer much coverage. I recommend mixing 1 part concealer with 1 part foundation for best results! For those with dry skin, try a ratio of 1 part concealer to 2 parts foundation. - wn******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedDec 11, 2024
This product allows you to achieve a subtle Inner Glow complexion. It contains finely sparkling pearls, so when you look at your skin from different angles, it appears to have a soft and beautiful glow. True to its reputation as a master of skin coverage, the coverage is so satisfying it's almost painful to talk about. I've been using this product for over a year now. It's so good that I don't reach for other foundations - the coverage is great, there's no darkening, and it's not drying, which is really nice. Even a small amount provides natural-looking coverage, and it doesn't set too quickly, so I recommend this foundation even for those who aren't makeup experts. While thorough skincare before makeup would solve most issues, I especially recommend this product for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin. I feel this product is more hydrating compared to other foundations - it seems to moisturize relatively well. The only downside is that the pump doesn't work smoothly, so I sometimes fail to control the amount properly. If you mix the foundation with moisturizer in a 7:3 ratio, you can achieve an even more translucent and natural-looking complexion (of course, the coverage will be relatively lower, but you can create a more pure and fresh-faced look). Also, don't forget to exfoliate to remove dead skin cells before applying makeup - it's essential! - dp******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 3, 2024
It applies thinly but provides great coverage. As a first-time foundation user, I'm really enjoying it. The low viscosity is a bit of a drawback, as it tends to run when pumped onto the back of the hand. - an********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 19, 2024
Great stuff! As someone with dry skin, I'm really satisfied. It doesn't flake much and personally, I'm quite pleased with it. As for downsides, I can't really tell yet. I'll need to use it for a longer time to know for sure. - kw********Dry SkinRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 10, 2024
The coverage isn't mind-blowing, but it's decent enough to be a great everyday foundation. It's a solid choice for daily wear. The color is ever so slightly on the yellowish side. Despite that, it's still pretty good. Thumbs up! - jy******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 21, 2024
When I think of Clio, I remember using their cushions a lot around 2015. I decided to try this glow foundation after hearing good things while browsing Olive Young. Now I'm already on my second bottle! It pairs wonderfully with a spatula for a thin, even coverage. The shade isn't too dark either - it's just right for those who usually wear 23. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the pump dispenses a bit too much product at once. It's a shame to wipe off and waste the excess. For best results, use a Picasso spatula or any similar tool to spread a thin layer. Then, dampen a puff with water and apply for a natural finish that absorbs beautifully. - tl**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 21, 2024
It absorbs incredibly smoothly. You can achieve a natural brightening effect without feeling heavy. I love that it doesn't feel dry and gives a subtle, beautiful glow. This seems ideal for those with dry skin. After some time, there's a bit of pilling and dead skin cells become noticeable. People with oily skin might experience some product lifting off the skin...
