As mentioned in the product description, it was effective in oil control. Normally, after applying a sunscreen product, my T-zone and cheeks would get oily and shiny after a few hours, but this one had no such shininess at all! ✅Powdery Finish (Adjustable) / Texture I have dry skin, so I usually use an oily lotion, but if I apply this product in one layer, it has a moisturizing finish. If I apply two layers and then pat my face, it finishes off feeling refreshed and powdery. It's great that I can adjust the layers to my preference. I was worried it might feel thick, but it applies smoothly and comfortably. ✅No Breakouts My sensitive skin often breaks out or gets irritated when I use just any product, but this one caused no breakouts or irritation whatsoever (although the sunscreen stick format itself may potentially be slightly irritating to the skin). ✅Convenience (Sunscreen Stick) Being a sunscreen stick, it's easy to use and the compact size makes it convenient to carry around and reapply. ✅Arms, Legs (Body Use) It's also great for body use. It leaves no stickiness and a refreshing finish, so it's suitable for all skin types.
Cons❎Not for Pre-Makeup Use If used before makeup, it can cause the makeup to slide off. ❎Size / Price While the small size is convenient, I wish there was also a larger size option. Compared to other sunscreen products, the price-to-volume ratio is a bit low.
Tip❇️Don't forget to apply sunscreen on your lips and the backs of your hands! ❇️Adjust the number of layers based on your skin type!

It applies smoothly, probably because of the hyaluronic acid. And since it has cica ingredients, I didn't get any breakouts or troubles. It's perfect to carry around and reapply when doing outdoor sports.
ConsFeels a bit heavy when reapplying. Due to the nature of the sun stick, I had to reapply it multiple times, and each time it felt a bit heavy.

But this sunstick contains a high concentration of centella extract, and I haven't experienced any skin issues or texture problems after using it for about 2 weeks. 💧Moisture + Application 👍🏻 With the addition of hyaluronic acid, it has good moisture and glides on smoothly, allowing me to apply it lightly. The shape is not too wide, so it's easy to apply on the nose and eye area, significantly reducing the time it takes to apply sunscreen. ☁️Silky Finish True to its name 'Silky Fit Sunstick', after thorough skincare, this product leaves a soft, smooth finish. 🫧Size The size is compact and easy to carry, so I can apply it comfortably even when I'm out exercising or on the go.
Cons⚡️Pilling After applying the sunstick and then using a matte cushion foundation, there is some pilling (a slight clumping effect). ⚡️(For dry skin) While it's a balm-type sunstick, it still has a moisture limitation compared to sunscreens in lotion or cream form. It may be difficult to use alone in the fall and winter, but it could work well if applied over a hydrating toner or serum, or primarily in the summer.

The fragrance was not overpowering, almost odorless, which I liked. They say the sun stick is the most effective, but the comfortable application is the biggest advantage of the sun stick. It was not irritating, so I did not have any breakouts.
ConsBecause it's round, it was difficult to apply to small areas. When I applied this and then foundation, the area that shifted was a bit disappointing, so I took off one star🥲

It felt very silky and moisturizing, which I enjoyed. There was no burden on the skin, and there was no distinct presence of oiliness or sunscreen stickiness. It was great for quick, easy application!
ConsEven though I have dry skin, when using my existing skincare routine, it felt a bit heavy. I don't think doing a lot of skincare is necessarily a good thing.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsMy skin type is combination/oily T-zone & cheeks, dehydrated, and acne-prone. I've tried many different sunscreen brands, but they haven't been able to properly address my dry inner skin. Over time, the oil would start to float on top, which was quite frustrating. I couldn't settle on a sunscreen that I really loved. The reviews for this product were so good, so I used it diligently for 2 weeks. I generally prefer cream-type sunscreens over stick formulas, and this product is just so moisturizing!!!!! I was really surprised. It provides such abundant hydration. I think this is the first time I've used sunscreen every single day for 2 weeks without skipping a day! Even as time passed, my skin didn't feel tight or dehydrated, and it maintained a moisturized feel, which I really enjoyed. There were also no breakouts, so I have a lot of trust in this product. I'm really happy to have found such a great product!
ConsIf you apply it too thickly, the sunscreen can start to pill. So you need to be careful to apply it in a thin, well-adjusted layer. If you get the application right, it's amazing!

Usage Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It glides on smoothly and velvety. It's better to melt the edges first before applying. However, from the moment of application, I felt like something was layered on top and it might slide off! Ingredients ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sunscreens usually have one or two not-so-great ingredients, but the ingredients in this are really good! That's probably why I didn't have many breakouts during the usage period. My skin usually breaks out with anything other than mineral sunscreens, but it wasn't completely clear either (a few small bumps appeared).
ConsSlippage ⭐️⭐️ As I mentioned before, the feeling that it might slide off wasn't wrong.. When I apply makeup on top, the foundation feels like it's floating. It would be good to wear without makeup when going out! I would love it if they could release a mineral version as well!
TipFor stick-type sunscreens, it's best to apply by gliding it along the skin and lightly patting it in with your fingers to help it absorb. A few hours later, the oil tends to come back up (probably due to dryness), so it's good to blot the excess oil with a tissue or cotton before reapplying.

As someone who doesn't prefer heavily applying products, I really enjoyed using this. My skin is combination and acne-prone, but the gentle formula and lack of irritation allowed me to use the sun stick comfortably, even though I'm not usually a big fan of mineral sunscreens. The best part about this sun stick is how quickly and easily it can be applied. The compact size also makes it convenient to carry around and reapply throughout the day. The fragrance-free formula means it can suit anyone's preferences.
ConsThe slight oily feel that's characteristic of sun sticks was a bit of a disappointment, and I noticed some pilling when applying makeup on top.
TipAt first, it may feel a bit slick upon application, but after a quick swipe or two, the warmth from the skin helps it blend in smoothly. Gently patting it in with your fingers can also help reduce the oily feel, leaving a nice, soft finish without any tackiness. When not wearing makeup, applying this as the last step in your skincare routine can provide a nice, smooth, powdery finish to complete the look.

There was a slight tackiness, but it went away quickly. It has good moisture and is comfortable without irritation. In fact, my skin feels softer.^ Sunscreens can sometimes cause breakouts if not applied properly, but since the ingredients are good, this one is fine. It's important to apply sunscreen generously, and the size is perfect for the pouch.
ConsThere isn't really anything disappointing, but when I applied it over makeup, it felt like it was sliding a bit, but that went away.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsI've never heard of the brand Skin 1004 before. I've hardly ever used sun sticks, but this is the first time I've used one in a long time. I had thought that sun sticks would be oily and have a lot of sebum, but that was not the case at all. I'm someone who applies sunscreen about 3 times a day. Please refer to my experience using it in the fall. I checked the ingredients and they don't seem bad. Since I'm more on the oily side, I usually avoid products with a lot of sebum, but this one doesn't have that at all. It contains centella extract and tannins, so I think it actually suits me better as someone with enlarged pores and oily skin. The emerald blue color is made with gardenia extract instead of artificial coloring. It's a matte type sun cream that applies smoothly. At first it feels a bit stiff, but after a few applications it becomes nicely rounded. It's a bit tricky to apply on the nose and hairline, but you can just gently pat it in with your fingers. After application, there's no oiliness or stickiness at all, just a soft, powdery finish. There's hardly any tackiness, and it's easy to apply on the neck as well. The size is really minimal and compact, perfect for carrying around. It's a twist-up type, and the amount left when fully extended is shown in the photo. The color is a bluish emerald shade. I have combination skin with some acne, and products often cause me to break out, but this one didn't cause any trouble at all, neither for me nor my sister who also used it. It applies smoothly and has a soft, powdery finish even after application. There's no tone-up effect, it just leaves a natural bare-faced look. Around the afternoon, a bit of oil starts to come through, but reapplying makes it matte again. It also has a blotting paper effect. There was no eye irritation either. It's said to have sebum control benefits, and both my sister and I did feel like we had less oiliness and shine. When the applied area gets wet, the water beads up instead of being absorbed, so it seems water and sweat-resistant. I think this would be perfect for using in the summer.
ConsAs for downsides, there weren't really any major ones, but if I had to nitpick: It felt slightly drying, and I did experience a bit of tightness. However, since it's currently fall and the weather is quite dry, I think that's likely the reason. When I washed it off with a mildly acidic cleanser, there was a slight residue feeling, more so than with the Bifesta Moisture sunscreen. And when I layered it over the Bifesta sunscreen, it felt like it was pilling up a tiny bit. But when I layered it over the Tory Burch sunscreen, it was fine.
TipIt seems like this product would be great for water activities. I disliked that the mineral sunscreens I used before didn't wash off well with the mildly acidic cleansers I use, but with this organic sunscreen, I felt like the UV protection wasn't as effective for water activities. However, since this product is resistant to sweat and water, I'm planning to bring it with me when I travel.
