The small size makes it convenient to use and carry around. As someone with dry skin, I often avoid concealers because they can be drying, but this one feels less dehydrating, which I really appreciate. The coverage isn't 100% full - it's not the kind that completely masks everything. It provides more of a natural-looking coverage. - eu*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2025
I received this concealer as a free gift with a Hera foundation purchase before, and it was surprisingly amazing! That's why I decided to buy the full-size product despite the price, and they even included another gift. I think I'll be using this for a long time to come! If you have slightly prominent pores, applying this concealer can definitely accentuate them a bit more, so it's best to blend it well! Still, among concealers, this one is on the more hydrating side! My routine is to apply toner and sunscreen first, then use this concealer to cover blemishes, trouble spots, and any marks. I do this before my eye makeup. Afterwards, I use a slightly firmer puff to cover those areas again, and then finish by lightly applying cushion foundation over everything for a natural look. - 19********Combination SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2024
I really like this! I used it instead of foundation and didn't experience any major blemishes. Some concealers can be quite thick, but this one had a nice matte finish. Using a small amount with a spatula and gently patting it on creates a thin, even layer that looks great. However, even with my slightly oily skin, it felt a bit dry, so it might be challenging for those with dry skin. When first applied, it may feel a bit heavy, but after a short while, it settles into a pleasant matte finish. Thanks to this, it has pretty good staying power, but controlling the amount is absolutely crucial. It feels like it's made for extremely oily skin. If you're looking to achieve a glowy complexion, I wouldn't recommend this. Make sure to use a hydrating base! Even though I applied a moisturizing sunscreen underneath, it still felt slightly drying. - da*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2024
This seems to be the perfect concealer for covering blemishes! I got it along with the Hera foundation, and since they're from the same brand, I think it'll cover imperfections without any pilling. While it's a bit disappointing that there isn't a wide range of shades and the price is slightly high, I still think it's worth purchasing and using. - je*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 13, 2024
Semi-matte finish: It strikes a nice balance between matte and moisturizing. I use the Hera Black Cushion in Vanilla, and this concealer feels slightly more hydrating than the cushion. It should work well even for those with dry skin. Lightweight: When applied, the product feels light and not heavy on the skin. Coverage: While I'm new to using concealers, I tested it by applying some color makeup on the back of my hand, then dabbing this concealer over it with a puff. It covered almost everything. Price: I received this as a gratis item, so I got to try it for free. After checking the price, I found it to be a bit on the expensive side. - yu******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedDec 19, 2023
Excellent coverage. It's great for applying lightly like a foundation. Everything's good, but it tends to darken a bit. It gets darker in the afternoon. - te*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 11, 2023
As a 20-year concealer nomad with hereditary dark circles, I've tried almost every famous concealer from well-known brands. This spring and summer, after my first post-COVID overseas trip, I got more sun exposure than usual, resulting in a dramatic increase in dark spots and blemishes due to inadequate protection. The Hera Creamy Cover Concealer in Vanilla that I received blends perfectly with my skin tone, effectively covering dark spots and blemishes while brightening my dark circles by a shade. True to its 'creamy' name, it's moisturizing and great for dry skin. While it's not an impenetrable cover, the texture is perfect for touch-ups when used with foundation. As expected from a base makeup expert, the color matches well with my complexion, which typically uses shade 21. There's nothing particularly disappointing. Both the formula and applicator are easy to use. - lu******Dry SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2023
Shade 9 is a perfect match, while shade 20 is great for brightening dull areas. Shade 21 works wonderfully as a highlighter. Unlike my previous experience with Hera cushions that had darkening issues, this color didn't show any significant darkening after application! The creamy consistency of this concealer applies smoothly with a hydrating feel. As someone with extremely dry skin, I was skeptical about a non-drying concealer, but this one truly delivers! It doesn't leave my skin feeling parched at all. The shade is slightly lighter for me, so I use it to even out my skin tone or to brighten up dull areas. I was amazed at how smoothly it applied during a hand test - it didn't settle into fine lines and felt wonderfully moisturizing. This product really surprised me in the best way possible! The only downside is that the shade might be too light for covering blemishes effectively. - ma*******Dry SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2023
As expected from Hera, a base makeup powerhouse, their concealer is truly excellent. The vanilla shade seems perfect for 21-22 skin tones. Above all, I'm extremely satisfied with how moisturizing it feels when applied. While it offers good coverage, I personally prefer products like this that are hydrating with slightly less coverage, rather than those that crack and settle into lines. That's not to say the coverage is poor by any means - in my opinion, it seems to work better for blemish coverage rather than dark spots or freckles. Given how moisturizing it is, the coverage isn't as full as some might expect.
