This product was a lifesaver when my skin was completely out of whack and suffering from severe deep dryness! They say skin needs to be free from irritation to regenerate, right? The emulsion is similar to skin's natural components, so it worked faster. It might feel rich, but it's absolutely fantastic for combating dehydration deep within the skin. It has a somewhat oily scent, probably due to its rich texture. The smell might be off-putting at first. - 32******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2024
The ingredient composition seems good, it's just unfortunate that it didn't suit me personally. They have a generous one-year return policy, so if you find it doesn't work for you while using the full-size product, feel free to request a return! I found the process quite hassle-free. However, it seems the caprylic ingredients, which are coconut-derived, didn't agree with my skin. My skin became bumpy and developed small blemishes. It's disappointing that the ingredients didn't suit me, especially since my skin felt comfortable when I first applied it. - jy*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 13, 2023
I've been really worried lately about butterfly-shaped redness on my skin. I was so concerned that I went to the doctor and got prescribed Lacticare, a level 7 steroid emulsion. Since my skin is thin, I avoided applying it near my eyes and mouth where absorption is high. I used the mildest steroid emulsion, Lacticare, for 6 days. It improved briefly, but when I overdid it, it got even redder after two weeks. So I started applying small amounts of Lacticare, the mildest steroid, only on the red areas again, but it didn't help at all. As soon as the package arrived, I rushed out barefoot to open the box. The sophisticated ivory color with a subtle, clear forest-like pale green tint is a mystical green-ivory that's close to white. I love the design too. Not only is the emulsion itself incredibly smooth to apply, but even the container feels luxuriously soft, which makes me happy. It has a simple yet elegant Scandinavian design aesthetic. My dermatologist said that for sensitive skin, it's crucial to minimize irritation by using fragrance-free products with a pH of 5.5 or lower and few ingredients. Checking the ingredients list here, I found it's fragrance-free with only 15 ingredients. The Emu Emulsion has all 5-star reviews, and all ingredients are marked in light blue on Hwahae. I was really surprised. After trying it, I understood why. Other products might feel moisturizing on the surface but leave my skin feeling tight underneath. The Emu Emulsion, however, 'works well for deep dryness'. It's more like a hybrid between an emulsion and a cream - incredibly 'hydrating'. It also 'absorbs well'. With this, you don't need any other cream! It has 'excellent moisturizing power'. As someone with super sensitive skin, I found the Emu Emulsion to be an amazing product. It 'makes my skin feel soft'. Moreover, as I continued using the Emu Emulsion, I finally noticed that my 'redness is improving'! There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I only wish I had discovered it sooner! It works even better when used with Emu Skin. Apply small amounts frequently for best results. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedSep 20, 2023
- The whole family can use it and everyone experienced moisturizing effects. - The hydration lasts for a long time. - It's gentle on atopic skin, providing soothing moisture without irritation. - It's not sticky, leaving the skin soft and hydrated. - The pump dispenses smoothly. - After application, it feels less oily. - It helps reduce redness. The quantity is a bit small for the whole family to use. Please make a larger size available. It lasts even longer when used together with toner! - so*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedSep 2, 2023
This seems to be the answer for super sensitive skin. I'm usually scared to try new products because I have sensitive, easily irritated skin prone to deep dryness and blemishes. But I'm so happy that neither the toner nor the emulsion caused any irritation at all. It also seems to provide strong hydration and prevent deep dryness. This doesn't seem to be a product specifically designed to treat active acne breakouts. I think it's best to use both the toner and emulsion together. The balance between absorption and lasting moisture is really great. They send a sample test letter, so it's a good idea to try that first.
