While I don't deliberately apply it there, even when it naturally comes into contact with my scalp, I've never experienced any irritation. Even without daily use, my hair feels healthier. However, it doesn't dramatically soften the hair. It does make it somewhat softer than not using anything, but the difference isn't huge. No product buildup Despite being silicone-free, it has a nice consistency that made me worry it might leave residue. However, after rinsing well, my hair felt less greasy than on days I didn't use it. It even gave my hair a stronger, more resilient feel.
