After blow-drying, you can convince yourself it helps cool down your scalp while preventing hair loss. A mental victory, if you will. The spray doesn't come out easily even when pressed, and it absorbs slowly, so you need to rub it in with your hands. Despite its pros and cons, whenever it's on sale on any platform, I stock up.

It seems gentle on the skin and absorbs well, which I really like. The pump dispenser provides more product compared to the roller type. It does give a refreshing sensation to the scalp. As a tonic, it's doing its basic job. It's too sticky... I bought it to use only when my scalp feels hot, but if you don't use it, the pump just gets completely clogged. I don't know how they expect us to use this. I bought it as a 1+1 deal and switched the pump, but even that got clogged again so quickly. Ugh. To be fair, I bought this a while ago, so I'm not sure if they've improved the pump since then. I really hope they have... This pump is a nightmare! The review highlights both positive and negative aspects of a scalp tonic. I tried Hwahae for about two weeks after getting a recommendation from a friend. It sprays out in small amounts, so I can apply it a couple of times, evenly distributed. It has a cooling sensation that helps lower scalp heat. Plus, it doesn't make my hair greasy right away, so I can apply it without worry! You need to apply the liquid several times and make sure it is well absorbed on the forehead. It gives a refreshing sensation on the skin. I use this product because I often feel heat on my scalp when using a hair dryer. It works well when sprayed evenly before drying. The cooling effect makes me reach for it often. I'm not sure if it actually strengthens the scalp. After using half the bottle, I still can't tell if it's effective.

My scalp tends to be oily, and if I skip washing my hair for even a day, the crown area gets greasy. I initially bought this product because my part line looked a bit sparse. After using it for about a year, I've noticed that the whitish areas have reduced, and my hair appears fuller. As a frequent swimmer, I didn't expect much, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The results are so good that I plan to keep using it consistently. After application, my hair doesn't get greasy, and the scent is incredibly refreshing. As expected, but still worth mentioning - when the bottle is almost empty, it becomes difficult to dispense the product when held upside down.
