It makes your skin look nice without being too dramatic, and it holds up well throughout the day (you could even say it barely budges). However, it doesn't seem to have any standout features like exceptionally good pore coverage or a dramatic skin-perfecting effect. I bought this foundation because I saw on Instagram that it supposedly gives you amazing skin texture, but it's really just average. - 99***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
I've finally found it! I used to only use Future**t, but after its reformulation, the finish became more matte, like it had been powder-treated. It was too drying, and even after a while, it didn't absorb well into my skin, which worried me a lot. Then I discovered MAC, and while this product isn't extremely hydrating, it's more moisturizing and less matte than the reformulated Future**t, making my skin feel more comfortable. Currently, I'm happily using MAC. **Update** I'm not sure which ingredient it is, but there's a slight irritation, though not severe. From a distance, there's a glow, but up close, it emphasizes dead skin cells, making my skin look worse than bare skin. Also, the deep dryness is more intense than with Future**. In the end, I went back to Future :'( It sets faster than expected, so it's best to apply it directly to your face - 9w********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 26, 2025
✓Hydration: The honey-like texture applies with a slightly tacky feel, but it's not excessively moisturizing - more of a dewy finish. ✓Coverage: Offers medium to high coverage. ✓Longevity: As time passes, it develops a honey-like glow as oils surface. It can feel a bit heavy at times, so setting with powder is a must. ✓Rich texture: The honey-like consistency can make application slightly challenging, and it seems to produce more oil compared to other foundations. ✓Color range: The yellow-based shades lack brightness, while other colors are too light, which is disappointing. It works well with a damp sponge, and mixing it with BB cream improves its absorption. - gh****Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2025
I used it about 10 times over a month, but unfortunately, I didn't notice any positive effects. It's more drying than expected. Up close, it looks cakey, but from afar, it gives a glow. You always need to keep your distance. The N11 shade has a strong pink undertone. Under fluorescent lights, it looks like kabuki makeup, though it's somewhat better in natural light. I applied it sparingly, hoping against hope, but I'm 99% certain this is causing my contact dermatitis. If you have sensitive, dry skin, please research thoroughly. Don't be fooled by how it looks under department store lighting. - ji******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedNov 14, 2024
It's wonderfully moisturizing and adheres well to the skin. The generous amount means it'll last a long time. Unfortunately, it contains quite a few harmful ingredients... more than I expected, which is disappointing. - ch***Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 14, 2024
I loved how it looked on my skin when they tested it in-store. The color match was spot-on too. But when I tried it at home, it somehow didn't play well with my usual skincare routine. There was a lot of pilling. Looks like I'll have to head back to MAC to find a base that works better for me. - gs******Combination SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 22, 2024
I bought this based on a YouTuber's recommendation, and it does give that slight coating glow they mentioned. Coming from using Hera, this definitely feels lighter on the skin. It's moisturizing and looks natural. It adheres well to the skin, and as someone who's super sensitive to darkening, I don't notice much of that... which is great! The color isn't as light as I expected, so it might not suit those with very fair complexions. I was hoping for something a bit brighter, so I'm slightly disappointed, but I do like the texture itself. However, be aware that after your makeup sets and dries, rather than simply rubbing off, it tends to peel away in a sort of flaky manner. The staying power is so-so, but that's to be expected since it's not a matte foundation! - go******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2024
It's an incredibly popular product. Great coverage, beautiful color, and excellent staying power. For winter use, it's a bit drying, so I mix it with BB cream. - lu******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin and use shade 21. It matched well with my slightly tanned summer skin. I usually use Hera Black Cushion in 17N during winter, so this might be a bit dark for colder months. The foundation gives such a beautiful glow! It wears nicely throughout the day, seeming to fill in pores for a smooth, porcelain-like finish (impressive even in summer). If the shade matches your complexion, I think you'll love it. It's perfect for those of us with lots of dead skin cells - I switched from cushions due to flakiness and lack of coverage, and I'm very satisfied with this! It can feel a bit sticky even after powdering. The adherence to the skin doesn't seem exceptionally strong. For best results, apply a thin layer with a spatula, then pat it in using a damp beauty sponge spritzed with face mist. When setting with powder, pressing it in with a puff works better than brushing for a cleaner finish. - da********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 20, 2024
I usually wear shade 17 in Korean foundations for a brighter look (21 matches my skin exactly). N11 falls somewhere between 17 and 21. I bought N11, NW11, and N12 at duty-free, and this one's the lightest. NW11 has a pink undertone, making it look fresh in some lights but darker in others. N12 would be perfect for someone who usually wears 23 but wants a slightly brighter finish. Being a serum foundation, it's quite hydrating. Great for dry skin, but oily types might want to skip it in summer. Coverage is good, and it's easy to blend with a spatula. The moistness prevents it from setting too quickly, making it ideal for blending. The price is the main drawback. Also, if you don't properly absorb your skincare first, this foundation might not sit well. Make sure to let your base products sink in before applying! Pro tip: Apply with a damp sponge for a flawless, skin-like finish.
