I tried my mom's, and it's amazing! It seems to have a slightly matte finish, and when it fades, it does so beautifully - I was stunned. It absorbs well, and applying it with a brush makes your skin look even better. It doesn't seem to cover blemishes very well, which is a bit disappointing. - qq********Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 25, 2025
I've been using this foundation for 5 years now, and I have no complaints about its coverage and adherence. It makes my skin look great and gives a slight glow, which I'm really satisfied with. I have shade 21 skin, and it matches my complexion perfectly! I haven't experienced any darkening, and it seems to work well for dry skin types. While everything else is great, as you use it, you might notice the characteristic foundation scent. Those who are sensitive to smells might find it a bit uncomfortable! It adheres even better when used with MAC's mist or primer. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 23, 2024
Not a single flaw for my combination dehydrated skin - it's my holy grail foundation! The packaging is a bit disappointing... I'm worried it might leak if I carry it around. - bo******Combination SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 8, 2023
This MAC foundation doesn't have that typical heavy feeling! It applies thinly and is more hydrating than expected! Even as time passes, it doesn't get overly shiny and maintains a nice glow It's fine when you apply a thin single layer, but if you try to build it up with multiple layers, it seems to separate a bit as time goes on - bl*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2023
This is my third time using MAC foundation. Compared to previous ones, it's very moisturizing and has a skin-enhancing effect. For a foreign brand, the scent isn't overpowering and it absorbs well. It doesn't seem to cling to tools much, and works fine with brushes, spatulas, or sponges. The formula is quite fluid, so even with multiple layers, it doesn't feel cakey. I bought this in the same shade as my MAC Cushion N18 which matched well, but this is much darker. I estimate my skin tone to be around 19 or 20. If you think you have fair skin, I strongly recommend going for a lighter shade. Being a glow formula, it tends to darken even more by lunchtime. - vc*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 4, 2023
I use shade 23 and have a dark winter complexion. When measuring my skin pigmentation, I have high levels of both yellow and red pigments, resulting in a yellowish, dark, and reddish (not flushed, more like a smoked barbecue kind of red) skin tone. I've been using MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation, but I always found all the colors to be too yellow. This product, however, has less of a yellow undertone compared to other MAC products. When I first heard about MAC releasing a new moisturizing foundation, I was curious and watched a Naver Shopping Live. I fell in love with how it applied and decided to purchase it. It's definitely silky and incredibly smooth, with a healthy, natural glow rather than a dewy, shiny finish. Plus, it's a glow foundation that still has decent longevity and coverage, so I'm quite satisfied. 1. As expected from a glow foundation, the pore coverage is slightly lacking, and over time, some oiliness does come through, which can emphasize pores. However, compared to other moisturizing foundations, it's much less noticeable. Considering that I have extremely oily skin and even matte cushions or foundations make me this oily, I'd say this one is relatively less shiny. 2. It's a bit light for my skin tone. If I apply too much of the N shade alone, it makes me look too pale. I wonder if I should have bought N12 instead. However, when I mix it with Estée Lauder Cool Cream (3C0), it balances out the color, longevity, coverage, and oiliness perfectly, so that's how I've been using it lately. The first photo was taken with a Galaxy S22 Plus, and the second with an iPhone 12 mini. Please note that my facial skin is darker, yellower, and redder than the skin on the inside of my arm when viewing the photos.
