It's incredibly convenient not needing a second cleanse. Highly recommended for those who struggle with laziness. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm using it without any issues. Why did they design the spatula storage like that? It squeezes out every time I open it, so I just tossed it. Now I'm using my hands, which feels a bit unhygienic. The price is also a bit steep. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 24, 2025
✨Combination dehydrated skin, blemish-prone, with some dark spots, sensitive skin type -I usually prefer cleansing balms and have tried several, but this product really impressed me during my trip! •Low irritation - Some cleansing balms can actually cause blemishes or occasional tingling, but this one had none of that! •Cleansing effectiveness - It removes makeup incredibly well! Many balms can be too oily and don't cleanse effectively, but this one gently cleanses deep into the skin. My skin didn't feel tight after cleansing, which was great! •Texture - It's surprisingly lightweight! This was particularly impressive to me. While balms are generally oily and can feel heavy, this cleansing balm removes makeup effortlessly without that weighty feeling. It has a unique sorbet-like texture that sets it apart from other cleansing balms, which I found fascinating. The price point might be a bit high, so it could be a burden for students like me to purchase regularly. While emulsification is important for all cleansing balms, it's particularly crucial for this product to truly shine. I highly recommend wetting your hands and face when using this cleanser for the best results! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 13, 2025
- Excellent cleansing power that removes even mineral sunscreen and full makeup with just one wash (no blemishes left behind) - Despite having extremely sensitive skin, it actually improved my complexion over time - You can feel excess sebum being removed during cleansing - No skin tightness at all after washing - Small amount for the high price - Barely effective for blackhead or dead skin cell removal (doesn't remove blackheads, just makes skin feel more refined) - If it gets in your eyes, it's not stinging but extremely cold - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2025
It's gentle and doesn't leave residue. Effectively removes sunscreen and light makeup. The price is steep. Doesn't remove blackheads or sebum - it's just for light cleansing. After washing, there's an oily feeling. Usually, with other oils I use, rinsing once and following up with a cleansing foam leaves my skin feeling clean, but this leaves a residual feeling I don't like. Regretting this purchase. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2024
It removes makeup thoroughly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, which I love. Even with my blemish-prone skin, I haven't experienced any breakouts! The product size is too small. Apart from that, it's great! However, it is quite pricey. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 11, 2024
🫧Product Name🫧 - Biome Barrier Collagen Firming Cleansing Balm 🫧Brand🫧 - Ulike 🫧Usage Period🫧 - 1.5 weeks since receiving the product 🫧Frequency of Use🫧 - Every evening 🫧Texture🫧 - It's so fascinating...! This is my first time using a balm, and it feels like solidified cleansing oil that melts smoothly 🫧Scent🫧 - No particular scent! 🫧Application🫧 - I love how it rolls on the skin gently without irritation. It leaves less residue than my previous oil cleanser. I think it emulsifies better! 🫧Additional Benefits🫧 1. Removes waterproof makeup - I experienced a whole new world... It's so convenient not having to use a separate point remover! I thought it wouldn't remove eyeliner, but it comes off completely when emulsified!! 2. More economical than expected - I was surprised that even a small amount effectively removes makeup and deep cleanses! I initially thought it was expensive, but considering the cost of buying separate eye makeup remover and cleansing oil, this seems worth it!! 3. Effectively removes blackheads - This is what I'm most satisfied with. Compared to cleansing oils, it rolls more smoothly and extracts blackheads more effectively. I'll attach a photo. 4. Hygienic and convenient - It comes with a spatula, making it hygienic, and the one-touch cap is really convenient! Even though it's effective enough to remove mascara, the price is a bit steep! At a regular price of 28,000 won, it might be a bit burdensome to buy without a discount. If you feel any residue on your face, you can follow up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse! Just be sure to use a very small amount! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2024
This is my first time trying a cleansing balm, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how good it feels. It's better than I expected! Just take a small amount, gently massage it between your hands, and it quickly melts and emulsifies. I apply sunscreen almost daily, and this definitely seems to cleanse better than regular foam cleansers. What I particularly love compared to foam cleansers is its gentle feel and how it doesn't leave my skin feeling overly tight after washing. There's no noticeable smell or fragrance that bothers me. The slight inconvenience is that you can't just squeeze it out to use... A small spoon is included, and for hygiene reasons, it's best to scoop it out with the spoon, but it's a bit of a hassle. Also, the price is a bit steep... I wish they would have more sales! I use it by gently massaging it onto my skin before adding water, and that's when you can really feel how gentle and smooth it is. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 6, 2024
An impressive cleansing balm with stellar performance 🥚 1. Cleansing effectiveness It removes even stubborn mascara effortlessly. Cleansing power is top-notch! Though a tiny bit of mascara remained in the arm test, it was completely removed during actual use. 2. Nose sebum cleansing I didn't expect much from a cleansing balm, but wow... It removes sebum as effectively as a cleansing oil. 3. Irritation Used it comfortably without any irritation. Of course, there was no stinging sensation either. 4. Skin feel After use, it leaves no residue and finishes clean. Yet it doesn't make the skin feel overly dry! 5. Skin barrier Initially, I avoid reading product details to prevent bias. After using it for a few days, I felt my skin becoming more resilient. Later, I learned it contains skin microbiome (beneficial bacteria) called 'cutie biome' that strengthens the skin barrier! It was amazing to actually feel the difference. 6. Packaging & Design Who's responsible for this? I'm impressed by the attention to detail. First, it's not a screw-top container, just a simple open-and-use design, which is super convenient. It comes with a spatula for scooping the balm, with a handle short enough to store inside the product, ensuring hygienic use without getting balm on your hands next time! Other brands often provide just a plain plastic stick, so I really appreciate this thoughtful detail. Also, the packaging design is clean and minimalist - it's beautiful! I may have gone on about the packaging, but the product itself is fantastic too. If the product wasn't good, I wouldn't have praised the packaging so much! 1. While the balm melts well during use, small balm particles form occasionally that don't dissolve easily. You need to crush and melt these particles for better dissolution. Keep this in mind! 2. For me, it felt slightly drying for everyday use. 3. The price seems a bit high. Use it just like you would use a cleansing oil! Remember to emulsify. And always remember to cleanse gently. Your skin barrier is precious. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 6, 2024
Texture - Most cleansers are oils or foams, so this balm-type cleanser was a refreshing first! It feels like a lip balm in texture. Cleansing effectiveness - While it might struggle with heavy makeup, it removes light makeup well. Gentle - I didn't experience any reactions like breakouts or eye irritation after use. Scent - The ingredient list shows no added fragrances, and true to that, it's unscented. The texture might be hit or miss for some. Having to use a spoon to scoop it out could be a bit inconvenient. They claimed it would reduce excess oil, but I didn't really notice that effect. It's not exactly budget-friendly either. Make sure to use a spoon to scoop out the cleanser to keep water from getting into the product! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSep 6, 2024
I'll share my honest personal experience with this product! - No eye irritation - Fragrance-free - Non-drying - Spoon can be securely attached I've only used cleansing waters and oils before, so I was curious about this! Unlike cleansing waters that can blur your vision if they get in your eyes, this doesn't sting or cloud your sight at all! And it's amazingly less drying than cleansing oils. The cleansing effectiveness seems pretty good too (I always do a second cleanse because I have large pores). If you have small pores and only wear sunscreen, this might be enough for a one-step cleanse. I love that you can attach the spoon to the bottle! - Spoon keeps falling off - Price compared to volume The spoon is both a pro and a con! I'm not sure if I'm just not attaching it properly, but it keeps falling off. I'll have to try to secure it better. In my opinion, it's not exactly cheap for the amount you get, so I'll wait for a coupon before buying it again! Apply to your face and massage, then emulsify and roll it around!
