It's a very sheer application with a foundation shade that is a completely neutral, ashen-toned pale hue that is hard to find in Korea. This alone will completely turn my skin upside down 😢 I'm not sure if it's a skin problem or dermatitis, but something immediately comes up 😢 - lo*******Dry SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedMay 17, 2025
The product that I have been most pleased with recently. It is moisturizing. However, it may be slightly lacking for those with extremely dry skin. But among the products I have used so far, this one stands out in terms of moisturization. As time passes, I become a bit disappointed. The color is pretty, and the coverage is surprisingly good for this type of formulation. I apply it with my fingers and use a sponge. At this price, such a foundation would be highly satisfactory. There are no shortcomings. - da********Dry SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2025
With its lightweight, water-like texture and moisturizing properties, this product seems suitable for those with dry skin looking for a gentle option. The coverage is minimal and the thin consistency results in uneven application. Unfortunately, it occasionally causes blemishes as well. - di****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJan 9, 2025
These days, in this dry season, I've been applying makeup like this: - Most of the time, I use a spatula to apply, then pat it in with a moist puff from The Tool Lab. - When I need to put more effort into my makeup, I mix EGF BB Light + Shiseido foundation + Chanel Sublimage Serum Foundation B00 (a new shade lighter than BD01). I apply this mixture with a spatula, then blend with a damp hydro sponge. That's how I've been doing my makeup lately. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment anytime. The adherence isn't great. The coverage isn't great either. It's best to buy this knowing exactly what you need. If you're a fan of full-coverage foundations, you'll probably really dislike this one. Choosing the right shade for this foundation might be quite challenging. However, the staff at Shiseido counters are incredibly helpful. Go there, try on multiple shades, don't be shy to ask for samples, and seek their advice. They'll genuinely try to help you. Remember, if a foundation shade doesn't match, it just ends up unused in your drawer. It's fine to apply with your hands... The Philimili S826 brush, which is Na Kyung's foundation brush, is also excellent. Just make sure not to get the foundation all the way to the tip of the brush - only apply it to the brown part of the bristles when you're using it. - eu*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJul 6, 2024
Adheres well to the skin. Looks beautiful as it settles. Creates a nice skin appearance. It causes blemishes... The ingredients... Almost all Japanese products seem to be like this. And while it's supposed to be moisturizing, it actually makes my skin look even more dehydrated. Pay close attention to the potentially irritating ingredients. - su*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2024
Absorbs beautifully, like an emulsion. No patchiness or uneven areas anywhere when applied. I usually use shades 13 or 17, so I habitually bought the lightest shade. I was shocked at how pale it was! - ch**************Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 16, 2024
I impulsively bought this after hearing it gives you a hot spring glow even when applied by hand. The glow is beautiful, and it doesn't feel like you're wearing foundation, making it perfect for daily use! If I had to pick something, I'd say it's not the easiest to find. That's about the only drawback I can think of. - ba*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 10, 2024
The Inner Glow effect is absolutely stunning! Even with my combination skin and visible pores, this makes my complexion look refined and smooth. The lightweight yet bouncy texture is easy to apply with fingers. Despite its sheer and thin consistency, there's no darkening, minimal creasing, and barely any pilling. It's the first glowy foundation I've tried that gives such a comfortable luminosity without feeling greasy at all. The packaging design could use some improvement. Also, even though I'm using the lightest shade 110, there's a slight grayish undertone, so it doesn't give that instant brightening effect you might expect.
