I tried it and it's such a perfect match that I stocked up on a few more. I've used shades 1, 2, 3, and 4, But 10 was too dark and the other lip pencils were too light. Shade 3 Coffee Brown is just right for me. It defines my lip line beautifully. Great for smudging too. The staying power is excellent. The woody scent? It's unavoidable, but it's quite strong... Apart from that, there are no downsides. This review highlights the importance of finding the right shade match in lip products. The reviewer appreciates the versatility of the product for both precise lining and smudged looks, as well as its longevity. The only drawback mentioned is the strong woody scent, which might be a consideration for those sensitive to fragrances. - as*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2025
I love all the Clio lip pencils! They're a bit on the darker side, which makes them perfect for eye makeup. There's nothing to complain about, they're great! I plan to repurchase them because I like them so much. - su*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 4, 2025
It stays on well and you get a lot for the price, so it should last a long time. It applies smoothly too. I can't really think of any downsides... The color complements my usual lipstick well, making it perfect for a natural overlip look. - sh********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 3, 2025
- It's a reddish-brown shade! I thought it might be too dark for lips, but it's perfect for defining the lip line or adding subtle contour. - Personally, I use it more for lining under the eyes, creating a cat-eye effect, or contouring the aegyo-sal (under-eye puffiness) rather than its intended use as a lip pencil. - The only downside is that it can clump and break as you use it, or the tip can become blunt, so you need to sharpen it occasionally. It's great for defining the lip line, but it's absolutely fantastic for creating a cat-eye effect. - pi****Combination SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I bought this after seeing it on YouTube, curious about the pencil type. The color is really pretty! It comes off more easily than I expected. I was quite disappointed with its staying power. - si********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
The formula is fantastic! It glides on smoothly and doesn't clump at all. The color?! At first, I thought it matched perfectly, but when I tried it again recently, it was too dark. I can only apply it to the corners of my lips now. I recommend testing the shades at Olive Young before purchasing. - eh********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
The shape is well-defined, yet it's incredibly soft - perfectly living up to its name as a lip pencil. The color is surprisingly rich, but when applied with a light hand, it's great for creating subtle shading. It's especially effective for enhancing the corners of the lips. The color might be a bit intense, but that's on me for choosing it, haha! Besides using it as a lip pencil, I also use it to add dimension to my aegyo sal (under-eye puffiness) and the triangular zone of my face. - au********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 14, 2024
1. Color payoff: While it may appear slightly cool-toned for true warm skin tones, it becomes more natural when blended with other eyeshadows. Try using it with a lighter beige eyeshadow for a harmonious look. 2. Versatility: It's a multi-purpose product that can be used to: - Create aegyo-sal (cute under-eye puffiness) - Add definition to the inner corners of the eyes - Define lip lines 3. Texture: The formula is slightly moisturizing yet a bit dry. For best results, apply a generous amount of lip balm before use. 4. Design: The packaging is practical and lightweight, making it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. It tends to fade quite easily. After applying and completing your makeup, you might find that it disappears after a short while. It works well for creating an overlined lip look. - by*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2024
This is my first time trying a lip pencil, and it creates a soft, natural gradient lip effect effortlessly. I honestly can't think of any downsides. I'm at a loss for words to describe any flaws! - li***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 9, 2024
The first wooden lip pencil in Korea, and it's definitely a winner! It allows for thin, delicate application while gliding on smoothly. The staying power is great too, as it sets well. The Coffee Brown shade is a dark rose-brown, which is a bit intense for me, so I use it more for shadowing rather than all-over color. I've been on the hunt for lighter shades, so I immediately added this to my cart when it was released! While it's perfect for precise lip lining, it's too thin to use as a base lip color!
