All of Skinfood's pad products are generously soaked in essence, which is why I trust and keep buying them. As someone with dry skin, my face gets parched right after cleansing, so applying these pads immediately helps. They're incredibly gentle, causing no irritation, and are great for reducing any burning sensation on the skin. I really liked using this cotton pad as it was gentle and non-irritating on my skin. The package contains a generous amount of pads, and the scent wasn't overpowering at all. While it may not be for intensive treatments, it's perfect for daily soothing skincare routines. The cotton pads, being pure cotton, tend to leave fibers on your hands and face after use, and they're prone to pilling. Also, I've noticed that some pads split or tear in the middle during use. The sheets separate easily into multiple layers, making them convenient to use. They absorb well, providing a nice hydrating effect. Occasionally, when taking them out of the container or using them as a full mask without tearing, they tend to leave residue on the face, which is a bit disappointing.

This one, though not famous, is actually quite good. Compared to the carrot pads, it's slightly lighter (though the difference is minimal) and suitable for sensitive skin. The best part? Its lack of popularity means beautiful discount rates! If I had to nitpick, maybe the packaging? But then again, that analog charm is part of Skinfood's appeal... so it's not really an issue. These pads are thick like carrot pads or other Skinfood pads, so you can split them in half for a toner mask. I was worried about the scent since they're licorice pads, but there's just a hint of tea tree and it's so subtle it's almost unscented. Even those with sensitive noses should be fine. The pads are generously soaked in essence, and the cooling effect lasts while you leave them on, making them perfect to use before makeup in the morning. After the essence absorbs, there's no residue, leaving skin fresh - great for summer use too! The only downside is that these pads seem to pill more easily than other Skinfood pads when removing after use as a mask. Other than that, I'm enjoying using them year-round.

Even without refrigerating, the pads feel cool, making them great for calming facial heat. The hydration level seems more suitable for oily or combination dehydrated skin rather than dry skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves a clean finish without any stickiness. The scent is subtle, almost unscented. While the pads separate into multiple layers easily, when I use them by sticking the layers together and then remove them, I find it inconvenient that lint is left stuck all over my face. The pad material is so soft that even gentle wiping causes the pad surface to fray slightly. Among all the Skinfood pads I've used, this one has been the most satisfying. I remember the carrot pad being foamy but just okay, the water parsley pad causing stinging and redness, and the acorn pad being generously soaked in essence. I discovered these on sale while using other Skinfood sunscreens and masks, and I'm now on my nth bottle. They're incredibly gentle with a refreshing essence - versatile enough for all-around use. The soothing effect is remarkably quick, and they're so hydrating that using three at once might cause dripping! I use them after strong cleansers when my skin feels tight, or when it's particularly sensitive. The potato one is also recommended - check out my review on that if you're curious! The main drawback is the pad's texture. While it's pleasantly thick, the intense surface pattern can leave imprints on your skin if left on for too long. Everything else about it is truly excellent! I loved how quickly it calmed my skin. The pads were soaked in essence, making them super hydrating. I've tried water dropwort pads before, but these herbal pads were the most moisturizing and gentle. They're fantastic for exfoliating too! The tweezers... please, they're so unhygienic! It's really disappointing.
