I'm a fan of lightweight formulas, and this gel texture applies so refreshingly that I really like it. There wasn't anything I disliked about it. I think I'll be using it well throughout the summer. - ac*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessRecommendedJun 14, 2025
It's a shame there are two potential allergens. I bought it on sale, but due to these ingredients, I probably won't repurchase. The application and feel are great, but please improve the formula! I've had an allergic reaction to cosmetics with problematic ingredients before, so I'm hesitant to use products with potentially harmful components long-term. Please consider reformulating. I really want to keep using this product! Both reviewers appreciate the product's performance but express concern over allergenic ingredients. They're pleading for a formula improvement to make the product more suitable for sensitive skin, highlighting the importance of safe, non-irritating ingredients in cosmetics. - jw********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 13, 2025
I was worried about the scent, but after trying it, I found there's no fragrance at all. It feels hydrating and nice. The tube packaging is also great for hygiene. Hmm... Any downsides? I can't really think of any. If I had to nitpick, maybe it's a bit runny? But honestly, that didn't bother me. The product absorbs well into the skin and works hard to provide hydration. It's suitable for those with super sensitive skin as it doesn't cause irritation. The texture allows for easy layering if you prefer a more intense moisturizing effect. - ye*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2025
Kudos to the eco-conscious company owner! It's so refreshing to see a tape-free box - that's a first for me and quite impressive! I'm on my third bottle of the I Recipe Cream-in-Gel and I'm absolutely loving it. As someone with extremely dry skin, it keeps me moisturized even in winter - it's fantastic! After a sauna session, when my face feels hot, this product calms my skin quickly. I've been using it with satisfaction throughout all four seasons. It's a shame it's out of stock on Cou*ang though... Please keep producing this consistently, and I hope you sell loads! Nothing particularly negative to mention. I had it on my wishlist on Coupang, but it went out of stock and now seems to be unavailable. That's disappointing. It works just as well as aloe vera, if not better! - oo*****Combination SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRednessMay 28, 2025
I snagged this at a great price during a flash sale. The packaging and functionality were pretty decent overall. After taking a closer look at the ingredients, I realized it wasn't as suitable for my skin as I had hoped, which was a bit disappointing. When choosing skincare products, it's always important to carefully review the ingredients list to ensure they align with your skin's needs and sensitivities. While a good deal can be tempting, the product's compatibility with your skin should be the top priority. - ro*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 27, 2025
I always use this Cream-in-Gel as a sample when traveling. After using it, I loved it so much that I recommended it to others and even gifted it. It's lighter than a cream but heavier than a transparent gel. That's why I think it's perfect for daily use throughout all four seasons. This isn't a product that leaves your skin feeling completely matte after application. It leaves a hydrated feeling, so those with extremely oily skin or during the peak of summer might find it a bit heavy. It doesn't have any special functions beyond hydration - it's solely focused on moisturizing! - 77****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedApr 23, 2025
This is a lightweight hydrating gel that's easy to apply. The texture isn't too light, so it provides great moisture. Just a heads up, it tends to pill if you use it before applying makeup. - du*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 18, 2025
I've been using this since last winter. I heard good things about the I Recipe Cream Mist, so I was curious and decided to try this product. It seems other people have mixed feelings about the scent, but I didn't find it unpleasant. It had a tea tree-like fragrance. The consistency was thinner than aloe gel, and it absorbed well. I used it on dry areas during winter, applying it as a spot treatment. After a few days, I noticed some inflammation-like reactions, so I stopped using it immediately. Once my skin cleared up, I tried it again a month later. I think it's causing folliculitis. It's quite shocking to see my face covered in red, inflamed blemishes without sebum, especially since the product still has a long shelf life. I stopped using it right away. After the redness subsided, little pus-filled bumps appeared. Wondering if it might be acne, I tried squeezing one, and only pus came out. Despite my attempts to disinfect the area, it kept spreading. Just as one spot would heal, another would flare up nearby, which is really frustrating. The process goes like this: a clear area starts to itch, then becomes red and inflamed on the first day, and turns into a pus-filled bump about two days later. It's so stressful! I'm still battling this issue. These days, I'm focusing on boosting my immune system to overcome this.
