Applying oil before gua sha improves the glide and makes the massage effect much smoother. The Nuxe pink oil, in particular, has a subtle floral scent that lifts your mood as you massage. The gentle fragrance creates a truly relaxing experience. When doing gua sha for cellulite, rough or excessive friction can irritate the skin. Thanks to the Nuxe oil, I could use the tool smoothly without any such concerns. The gua sha tool itself has a nice weight, so it doesn't strain my wrist. The combination of the Nuxe oil and the gua sha tool is perfect - I'm completely satisfied with both. Since it's a spray formula, rather than applying it directly to the gua sha tool, it works better to spray it on the skin first. This softens the skin, allowing for a smoother glide. When using oils with gua sha, it's important to choose products that absorb well into the skin without leaving an overly sticky residue. This ensures the tool can move smoothly across the skin surface without causing irritation. Always patch test new products, especially if you have sensitive skin, to avoid any potential allergic reactions. - sy********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 26, 2025
Scent: It has a feminine floral fragrance that's not overpowering. It might feel a bit heavy in summer, but it's perfect from early fall onwards. The scent absorbs quickly, leaving behind a subtle floral aroma. Texture: Despite being an oil, it absorbs rapidly without feeling greasy. It leaves a protective layer on the skin that feels wonderfully moisturizing. I loved using it on the ends of my hair - the fragrance lingers beautifully. It's great that it can be used on both skin and hair! Formula: Unlike other oils, this comes in a spray form. I've gotten so used to it that other formats now feel inconvenient. As someone with dry skin, I apply it generously all over my body (except my face). It absorbs well without feeling stuffy. Bonus: It's fantastic that this one product can take care of both skin and hair. It absorbs quickly without feeling slippery, leaving the skin feeling hydrated. It's absolute bliss to apply after a sauna or steam room session. The spray format is a big plus - no greasy feeling on your hands! Drawbacks: It might feel a bit heavy for facial use and could potentially cause blemishes. The price is on the higher side, but it's worth the splurge. For winter, I'd recommend Nuxe Rich Oil, while this floral oil is perfect for regular use. As someone with very dry skin, I'll definitely keep using this. Pro tip: For the ultimate pampering experience, use this after drying off from a sauna session, followed by your favorite Philosophy product. It's floral perfection! - ye*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 22, 2025
This oil is perfect for dry skin during pregnancy! The ingredients are gentle, and as it's such a well-known product, I had high expectations - but it exceeded them. It's not sticky and applies thinly. When you pat it in, it absorbs quickly. Even if you have oily skin, using a small amount in your skincare routine before makeup makes your skin feel firm and helps your makeup adhere better. Unlike other Nuxe oil products, this one has a floral scent. Those who don't like rose fragrances or artificial scents might find it a bit overwhelming. It's great to mix with stretch mark cream for extra hydration. - 79********Dry SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2025
First off, I absolutely loved the subtle fragrance. A small amount, about two pumps, was more than enough. Just for reference, I use it for my hair. It was great that it didn't leave my hands feeling overly greasy. The cap and spray nozzle are a bit loose, which is somewhat inconvenient. It works wonders not just for the face, but also for damaged hair and dry, slightly wavy locks. - ls*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2025
The best thing about this product is the scent! It's floral, sweet, and has a lovely flower fragrance. It smells so good, you might mistake it for perfume. If it weren't for the oiliness, I would have sprayed it generously all over. As someone with combination dehydrated skin and super sensitive skin, I only use this on my body. It feels too rich for my face and might cause blemishes if I applied it there. It's great for gua sha! Gently massage it into your neck, collarbone, and arms. It doesn't dry too quickly, which makes it perfect for a relaxing massage session. - da**Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 26, 2025
It's an oil, but it absorbs faster and feels lighter than an emulsion, without any heaviness on the skin It runs out too quickly. The price is quite expensive - ra********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2025
Great for dry skin! I found it especially effective when mixed with a hydrating cream in winter. Well, I can't say there's anything particularly disappointing about it, except for the flimsy lid. Other than that, it's pretty good. - 75********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 22, 2025
Nuxe is a trusted brand you can rely on. While opinions on the scent may vary, I personally found the floral version much more pleasant than the original Nuxe oil. I'd recommend it for those with dry to combination skin types. The absorption is good, and the 100ml full-size product comes in a spray format, which becomes quite convenient to use once you get used to it. As a dry-type oil, it's remarkably lightweight for an oil. I spray it directly on my face right after cleansing, but afterwards, I prefer mixing it with my compact foundation or hand cream for application. For those with dehydrated skin lacking in oils like myself, I wouldn't recommend using this product alone on dry days. It might not be enough! While the spray format is convenient in many ways, be mindful of the residual oil that can drip onto the floor. If you have cats like me, I suggest using it in the bathroom. If you have bangs and need to apply oil to your forehead, be cautious of your bangs becoming greasy. To minimize greasy bangs, I spray the product only up to below the cheekbones and then distribute it to other areas. I also recommend this method for those with eyelash extensions. - ma*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedMar 17, 2025
The fragrance is better than most perfumes. The spray format makes it convenient to use. The bottle design is also quite attractive. The limitations of an oil spray: the bottle becomes slippery. The spraying power is also a bit disappointing. The price is on the higher side. If you lightly spritz it on your hair ends, it works as a hair essence too. - al*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresMar 6, 2025
I tried it at Olive Young before buying. I applied it to my skin, and even though I'm not a fan of oils, I was pleasantly surprised. No blemishes appeared, and it absorbs well into the skin. What's more, when applied to hair, it really brings curls back to life! The fragrance is a bit much. It's floral, but constantly smelling it in your hair gets tiresome. The worst part is the cap - it's so flimsy that when you try to pick up the bottle, it feels like it might fall and crush your toes! Plus, being aluminum, it dents easily. The spray mechanism is also disappointing. Sometimes it comes out unevenly, causing the hair to clump together.
