Despite being a cica product, it didn't have any soothing effect on me. Instead, I got small bumps like millet seeds and my skin felt greasy. Such a disappointment!

Hmm, I'm not really impressed. It's hard to tell if it's just the nature of cica products, but when I apply it, it feels like there's a film on my face. It's supposed to absorb, but it doesn't seem to do that effectively.

1. After cleansing, first apply a very light, water-like toner. (I used Angel Aqua Toner, which is the most refreshing and gentle for me.)

2. When the first layer of toner is slightly dry, immediately apply a spot serum containing tea tree. (I used Daiso Tea Tree Spot Serum.) Apply any other acne treatments at this time as well.

3. Then, use the Barrier Derm Cica Toner. (Apply generously to troubled areas)

4. Once the second layer of toner has dried, apply at least two layers of emulsion! (If using a highly moisturizing product, one layer may suffice. Ensure your face doesn't feel dry.)

Just doing this can restore your skin within a week. Please give it a try!

It quickly makes the skin feel tight after application. (I've heard others say it feels like the skin is being pulled.) It's hard to recommend for those with dry skin. Even with my combination dehydrated skin, using this product alone was too drying, so I had to layer on emulsion or other hydrating products twice.

It contains powder, so you need to shake it before use. If it spills, it dries white, requiring frequent cleaning.

✨Recommended toner for oily, blemish-prone skin✨

I stumbled upon this product when an Olive Young store associate recommended it after seeing my oily, sensitive skin.

I'm almost hesitant to share how effective it is for blemishes and acne, as it might sound too good to be true.

I used to rely heavily on acne ointments and patches. After using a product that claimed to boost skin regeneration, my skin actually worsened significantly. However, heeding advice that over-application can be harmful, I scaled back to just this toner and emulsion as my basic routine. Surprisingly, my skin calmed down within a week.

• For oily skin: As typical with toners, it can feel a bit drying after application. This seems unique to this product, and as someone who dislikes stickiness, I'm extremely satisfied.

• Application: It has a concentrated, flowing texture. Despite drying quickly, it feels moisturizing upon initial application.

• For sensitive, blemish-prone skin: When my skin severely reacted to incompatible cosmetics, using this product for about a week noticeably calmed it down and prevented further acne or blemishes from appearing.

Maybe it's because my skin isn't in great condition, but occasionally it would pill around my eyebrows like dead skin cells.

I've been using this for about 5 months now. When my skin was acting up, I used this as a toner pad, and by the next day, my skin had calmed down completely.

Apart from soothing my skin, I didn't notice any other outstanding effects.

The instructions suggest using it as a soothing mask by soaking cotton pads, but I wouldn't really recommend that. The Uriage Xémose toner is thinner and works much better as a soothing mask and for smoothing skin texture.

It tends to solidify easily, so it kept hardening at the opening. I got tired of constantly having to close it, so I ended up transferring it to a smaller container for use.

It absorbs well, which was great for evening out my skin texture. I got two 50ml samples when I bought the cica cream during the Olive Young sale, and I think that's plenty without needing to buy the full-size product. I highly recommend the cica toner + cica cream combo for those with combination dehydrated skin!

It has a noticeable scent, and it's a bit annoying to constantly clean the bottle opening.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I absolutely love this! No blemishes at all - I think I've found my holy grail toner. The scent is lovely, and it has a slightly viscous liquid texture. It absorbs well and doesn't leave my skin feeling deeply dry.

I soak two cotton pads with the toner. I use one for smoothing the skin texture and pat the other one gently on my face. It creates an excellent base for makeup application.

I'm not sure if I can feel it retaining moisture, but it's still a winter essential.

Despite being a toner, the hydration is incredible! It's not a runny consistency. Although it comes out like water, it locks in moisture effectively. It feels like it's deeply hydrating... I mainly use this toner in winter.
