I've gone through several containers of this product before the reformulation. It was the ultimate cushion foundation, ticking all the boxes: a creamy texture that's easy to apply for covering large pores, a moisturizing feel that doesn't emphasize dead skin cells, a shade that matches my complexion perfectly, and it doesn't settle into pores or break down. It didn't irritate or aggravate my blemish-prone skin either. The beautiful case was just the cherry on top. After desperately hunting down the old version and using it until my fourth case broke, I finally gave in and purchased the reformulated version. The slimmer magnetic case takes up less space and seems less likely to break, which is one definite improvement I'm very satisfied with. Unfortunately, the reformulation has left me disappointed in terms of skin appearance and wear. While the original shade was a natural match for my 22 complexion, the new version seems to have a more reddish, dull undertone. Shade 20 is too pink-based and pale, while 25 is too orange-red, so the color range is a bit lacking now. Is it the new puff? Unlike the original's smooth, dense applicator, this one's more powdery and seems to deposit too much product. The coverage feels thicker, making my skin look dry and textured. It also doesn't seem to last as long. As it wears, it gets oily and breaks down unevenly - clumping on textured areas and emphasizing pores. Though I'm still using it out of nostalgia for the original, I find myself reaching for it less and less. I really miss the old version. - js*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMar 1, 2025
I've finally found my holy grail cushion foundation. I'm on my third compact now. My skin type is prone to redness but without acne. I have a warm undertone and shade 23 is perfect for me. It brightens up my complexion just right. Coverage: While it doesn't provide full coverage, it conceals what needs to be concealed. For anything that doesn't get covered, you might need to use a concealer. Adherence: The adherence is fantastic. It's as if it becomes one with my skin! I highly recommend this for those seeking a natural skin-like finish. Packaging: The case is luxurious. With the recent redesign, it now has a magnetic closure, making it even more convenient. The leather-like exterior is soft and beautiful. Puff: The puff has been redesigned from a round shape to one with pointed ends, making application easier. I love the puff - it seems to help the product adhere even better to the skin. Coverage: The coverage isn't exceptional. Price: It's quite expensive for the amount you get. Shade 25 isn't even available at duty-free shops, so you have to pay full price. The replacement puffs are also pricey. Dryness: Being a matte formula, it can be a bit drying. On particularly dry days, you might notice some areas where it looks a bit chalky. Application Tip: To increase coverage, apply two thin layers. - em********Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
Even for skin that's not well-maintained, it provides subtle yet effective coverage. The before and after difference is noticeable. It definitely evens out my complexion without looking cakey, which is why I've made it part of my daily routine. It's pricey. While it's good, I can't recommend it if you're looking for value for money. - s6********Normal SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 7, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I usually feel uncomfortable with heavy products, but this cushion feels incredibly hydrating the moment I apply it! A small amount covers my entire face! On busy days, this cushion alone gives me a clear, radiant complexion with excellent adherence. I find myself reaching for it again and again! There's nothing bad to say! If I had to mention one thing, it would be the higher price point.. - ju*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 2, 2025
I usually wear shades 24-25 in Korean brands, but I dislike pink undertones and thought shade 35 would be too dark, so I went for 25. Surprisingly, it's lighter than expected - more like a 21-22 shade. The ivory hue is beautifully formulated, giving my skin a radiant tone correction. It applies like a moisturizing essence and sets to a soft, semi-matte finish. Even with my oily skin, it worked well in winter. The thin, adherent formula allows for a natural skin-like finish. Its excellent fixing power means you can build it up without patchiness or caking. It truly gives that 'naturally good skin' look. What impresses me most is how beautifully it wears throughout the day. As it mixes with skin oils, it develops a subtle glow that looks as sophisticated as a highlighter. Longevity is quite good too, holding up well even on summer days. The coverage is light. Even with multiple layers, blemishes and acne scars slightly show through, so a concealer is definitely needed. The case quality is disappointing. The locking mechanism breaks easily, and sometimes the refill doesn't fit properly in the case (I had to repurchase twice because of case issues). The included puff is rather mediocre. Its size is awkward, application isn't great, and the finger band is an odd fit. I toss it out every time I buy a new one. While it breaks down beautifully with skin oils, it can get patchy and uneven when mixed with sweat. I try to use it only in cooler seasons. It can emphasize pores and dead skin cells. Although it applies smoothly at first, as the moisture evaporates and it sets, hidden pores and flakes become more noticeable. It's not severe, but this product works best when your skin is already in good condition. The amount of product is small for the high price. Most cushions contain 15g, but this one only has 14g. That 1g difference is more significant than I expected. I want it to last longer due to the price, but I have to replace it quite frequently. It's incredibly affordable if you buy it from duty-free online shops using coupons and points when traveling abroad! - lo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 27, 2024
It suits my sensitive skin well and keeps it hydrated. The renewed version has a brighter color. The coverage and staying power are a bit lacking. Personally, I prefer the previous version. - ip*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2024
Even though I have dry skin, this was pleasantly moisturizing and easy to use. I was satisfied with the beautiful color. Above all, the cushion design is incredibly luxurious and pretty. I plan to purchase it again after I finish this one. I bought shade 23 thinking it would brighten my complexion, as shade 25 was recommended for those who usually use shade 22. However, it turned out to be too light. The price is also a bit steep. - ac*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2024
As someone in their 30s with combination dehydrated skin, I bought this for summer use. First off, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! It has a semi-matte formula that stays put on less oily areas, giving a beautiful glow without settling into lines. It creates a flawless complexion with a radiant finish. The quick-setting formula requires a bit of skill to apply. The shade runs slightly lighter than my usual 22-23, but it's perfect for achieving a bright, luminous look. On oily T-zone areas, it tends to show slight pilling after a while. The price point might be a bit steep for some. For those with oily skin, I recommend applying a light dusting of oil-control powder over the cushion. This should help it last even longer. - rh*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 22, 2024
Despite being a matte cushion, it doesn't cause any deep dryness. It's easy to apply since it doesn't set too quickly, and it has great staying power. Even with my dry skin, it worked well for me. Above all, the case is absolutely gorgeous! I experienced some slight pilling around my nose area due to dryness. In the store, I was told that B25 is equivalent to shade 22 in Korean standards, but I found it to be a bit lighter than expected. - me*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsMar 25, 2024
The compact case is pretty and the coverage is excellent. It gives your skin a beautifully hydrated appearance. For those with oily skin, the makeup tends to break down quickly and oil starts to surface.
