I've seen a lot of fall-toned people rave about the Chocolate Smoothie as a holy grail lip color, but I heard that once the remaining stock is sold out, it might be discontinued altogether? 😢 This kind of muted red-cocoa brown color is not that common, and since the demand is probably lower than the lighter-toned makeup products, it's a bit of a shame that it seems to be on the path of discontinuation.

This is a spring light type that is compatible with the muted colors of the 21~22 fall season. To be honest, the Chocolate Smoothie isn't my personal best color, but as the weather started to cool down, my usual lipsticks looked a bit too bright and vivid, so I decided to give this one a try.

The Pia Quen Moca, which is said to be popular among those who can pull off less-grayish tones within the fall type, is also something I purchased. Compared to the Pia Quen Moca, the Chocolate Smoothie has a slightly more reddish and radiant feel. The texture has a nice oily, velvety feel, and it's more appealing when you dab it on your lips with your fingertip or a brush to blur it out, rather than just swiping it on.

When I do my makeup with the Peripera Acorn Palette or the Clio Cozy Street Walk Palette, I find that layering a thin coat of the MAC Mulled Cider or the slightly cooler Mood Rusty Sugar, which I didn't reach for as often before, and then adding a touch of the Chocolate Smoothie on top, helps to add a bit more warmth and tie the eye makeup and the overall mood together nicely.

I purchased the product at a low price, so I don't have any particular complaints about it.

I heard that it was discontinued, so I bought 2 of them. It's a dark autumn color. I mainly use it as an orange-tinted lip color, and it was a nice product to use. I don't really suit yellow or orange tones, so I've just been using the cool dark and cool muted lip colors.

The autumn muted shade is a bit too high in chroma for my taste, so the lipstick looks a bit lifted. I'd really recommend it as a fall deep lip or autumn muted accent lip for those with that skin tone.

The packaging is pretty, and I'm satisfied with the color and texture. I'm using my second tube.
