It's disappointing to see such a unique muted red-cocoa brown shade phased out. These deeper tones are less common, and it's a shame they're often discontinued due to lower demand compared to lighter shades.

As a Light Spring type compatible with Fall Mute shades in 21-22, I tried the 'Sweet Choco Smoothie' shade. While it's not my absolute best color, I decided to give it a go as the cooler weather made my usual lip colors seem a bit too bright. Compared to Pia's 'Quite Good Mocha', which is popular among less-grayish Fall types, 'Sweet Choco Smoothie' has a slightly redder undertone, giving a more vibrant look. The texture feels like velvet with a hint of oil. For best results, I recommend applying it with the applicator tip and then blending with your finger or a brush for a more alluring finish. It pairs beautifully with eye looks created using Peripera's Acorn palette or Clio's Cozy Alley Walk palette. I love layering a thin coat of my go-to MAC Mulled It Over or the slightly cool-toned Mood Rusty Sugar, then adding a touch of 'Sweet Choco Smoothie' on top. This adds warmth and harmonizes perfectly with the eye makeup.

I heard rumors this might be discontinued, so I bought two. It's a great fall dark shade. I mainly use it as a lip color with minimal orange undertones. It's been a reliable, easy-to-use product for me. Since yellow and orange tones don't suit me at all, I stick to brown lips, cool dark shades, and light undertone lip colors.
