First off, I was amazed by the unique texture! It applies moistly, but with a bit of blending, it absorbs into the skin, feeling light as if you're not wearing anything. My lips are typically very dry with lots of dead skin cells, so I've been hesitant to try matte lipsticks. However, this product doesn't emphasize flakiness much, making it great for those new to matte lips. As for the color, despite its name 'Muted Acorn', I expected more brown tones. Surprisingly, it's a rosy brown with quite a bit of red undertone. As someone with an autumn muted complexion, I find it creates a lovely mood when dabbed on the inner lips, and the color is truly captivating. The opening can get messy if you don't wipe it carefully... But I suppose that's unavoidable given the product's formulation. I like to dab this on the inner part of my lips and then apply Pomelo Skin on top. It creates a beautiful fig-like lip effect! The color payoff lasts quite a while. I bought the 'Muted Acorn' shade because it's said to suit deep undertones. When first applied, the color is beautiful. As time passes, the inner part of the lips turns purple. It doesn't come off easily, and even when reapplied, the color doesn't look pretty anymore. It's such a shame!

It's great as a base or can be used alone for a subtle look. The color payoff is almost identical to Rainbow Mansion #3 Stranger. So if Stranger suits you well, this Muted Acorn should work nicely too. There's a significant difference between the color shown on the official website and the actual product. There's nothing particularly good to say... When applied to the lips, it seems to give a yellowish tint. It was a disaster! My lips peeled, I got cheilitis, and it was a complete mess. • Stains well. • One application is enough for vivid color payoff. • Initially feels moisturizing, then absorbs into the lips like a water tint. • A rose shade that's perfect for muted skin tones. • If there's base product on your lips, it can mix and create a cloudy yogurt-like effect. • If you notice a cloudy appearance, gently rub with your finger or wipe with a tissue. The application is wonderfully watery, and it feels like it gently seeps into your lips when applied. I love how it smudges well and leaves quite an intense stain! If your lips aren't properly cared for and you apply this product, it can go on patchy. Also, if you don't wipe the tint applicator after use, the product can dry up and harden at the opening, which is disappointing. For best results, make sure to apply a generous amount of lip care product the night before using this tint. This helps remove dead skin cells as much as possible. The color is beautifully autumnal. It goes on moisturizing and quickly sets to a matte finish, so it doesn't transfer when drinking like a lipstick would. Instead, it maintains its pretty tint-like color, making me feel I've made an excellent purchase. I've tried Wakemake's eyeliner before, but this product is even more satisfying. Highly recommended for those who want a lip product that doesn't smudge. The color is a gorgeous muted brick brown that's perfect for fall. If the lip applicator isn't fully submerged, the tint might spill out when you pull it out.
