My skin is sensitive, dry, and occasionally prone to blemishes. Here's what I love about this product: 1. It's so moisturizing and absorbs beautifully! 2. My skin looks incredible... Is this really my complexion?! 3. You get a generous amount of product. 4. For a BB cream, the coverage is outstanding. 5. It doesn't have that typical grayish cast that some BB creams have. 6. It didn't cause any major breakouts! 1. The price... It's quite expensive. You might want to look for group buys. 2. The dropper makes it tricky to control the amount. 3. As you can see in the photo, product tends to build up around the dropper. You'll need to clean it often. Additional update: I previously mentioned that it didn't cause breakouts, but I've had to revise my opinion. I trusted this BB cream because it's sold at dermatology clinics, but as you can see on the Hwahae app, it contains some irritating ingredients that aren't great for sensitive skin. It seems to clog pores, and the more I used Cell by Cell BB cream, the worse my skin became. I tried going to work without it for a few days, and my skin improved. Then when I used it again, chaos ensued! As the weather got warmer, it really clogged my pores, leading to a party of tiny bumps. Some of these couldn't handle the pressure and turned into inflamed pimples. I initially trusted this product because the influencer/YouTuber who promoted it has great skin. But I realized they probably have good skin because they get skin booster treatments and use other high-quality products too. For super sensitive skin like mine, I unfortunately can't recommend this product. Make sure to shake the product well before use, and be very careful with the amount you apply! Don't squeeze out too much! - re********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessApr 25, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin with redness, visible pores, uneven texture, and sensitivity. My skin tends to make foundation fade quickly and break down easily. I prefer foundations that focus on enhancing skin texture rather than covering blemishes, and I like ivory-toned ones that apply thinly and moisturize well. This glowy foundation has good absorption and its bright color gives a radiant look. However, for someone like me with shade 21-22 and severe redness, it's a bit lighter and pinker than my usual foundation. I'd recommend it to those wanting a shade 20 or light 21, or anyone looking to brighten up dull skin. Since this BB cream's finish varies greatly depending on skin condition, it looks best when applied to well-cared-for skin. While it looked thin and dewy on Instagram, it felt a bit heavy and thick from the first application. Even when applied with a spatula, it has a thick, high-coverage foundation feel. Ironically, the skin looks prettier after some oil comes through and the foundation wears off a bit. As someone concerned with redness, I pay close attention to color, and this is extremely pink-based! It's even pinker than Cezanne's Glow Cushion, which was already quite pink. On redness-prone skin like mine, it can make the face look a bit red. You have to wait for it to blend with your natural skin tone. It's less moisturizing than expected and actually feels dry, causing it to flake. While it seems to adhere well, up close it emphasizes dead skin cells and wrinkles. Over time, it accentuates pores and settles into nose creases and wrinkles. It was especially bad between my eyebrows and left a patchy finish all over. Also, it seems to fade too quickly. It's just an okay BB cream, neither great nor terrible. It looks really beautiful when mixed with Givenchy foundation! If you do a thorough skincare routine the night before using this BB cream, you're likely to be satisfied with the results. - hw******Dry SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedMar 28, 2025
As a beauty school applicant, I've had the chance to try various cosmetics. Based on my experience, I'll give you an honest review. If you have dry skin like me, I think you'll really enjoy this product. True to its name, it's a serum-like product, but the coverage is as satisfying as a foundation. The texture is incredibly smooth with a velvety feel. Even on my sensitive skin, there was no irritation at all. It's perfect for those days when you feel your complexion needs a quick pick-me-up - just apply it lightly. I'd recommend this for people who don't have major blemishes to cover. For those with oily skin, it might wear off a bit easily. Even with my dry skin, I noticed it fading as time passed. I recommend using it with a damp cushion or sponge for best results. - on****Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessMar 24, 2025
Unfortunately, this product didn't agree with my skin at all. It caused a significant breakout of blemishes. I experienced so many blemishes that I don't think this product suits me. It's quite disappointing... - yy****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2025
The color is beautiful and I love that it has sun protection! It stays on well until evening! While it doesn't cause blemishes, it's a bit drying. Especially around the nose and chin area, the makeup tends to separate. As time passes, I felt an overall sense of dryness. - ia*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 4, 2025
Texture and Application: The lightweight, smooth formula adheres well to the skin. It's easy to apply without feeling thick or heavy - just a drop on each cheek and forehead spreads effortlessly. Multiple layers don't feel suffocating, allowing for natural layering. The moisturizing finish keeps skin comfortable without dryness for hours. Color: It brightens the complexion beautifully. As someone with a deep undertone in shade 21, it made my skin look about one shade brighter without appearing floaty. The color is perfect for daily use - not too red or gray like some BB creams. It could even be mixed with darker foundations. Longevity: It maintained a flawless look all day with minimal breakdown. The product stayed put without separating or patching, eliminating the need for touch-ups. Particularly impressive was how it gracefully faded in the afternoon when oil production increased, rather than looking messy. Overall: The ease of application and brightening effect are the biggest pros! This BB cream offers natural coverage with a comfortable feel. It's great for daily use without stressing the skin, and I'm satisfied with its longevity and resistance to darkening. It would be great to buy during group purchases or special events. I wish they'd release a smaller size option too. Can create a flawless skin look over any sunscreen! - so**************Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 2, 2025
1. Value for money At first, I thought it was too expensive, but surprisingly, just a drop or two is enough to cover the entire face, so it should last a long time. 2. Adherence For my skin type, the adherence was really great! I tried applying it with my hands and then patting with a puff, and also tried using a brush - both methods resulted in excellent adherence without much difference. The coverage is also similar to most moisturizing cushions. 3. Color The color would likely suit those who usually use shade 20. I have a 21 skin tone, and I mainly use this when I want a brighter makeup look! Those who use shade 23 or darker might find it a bit light. 4. Longevity I usually apply a very thin layer of base, so I don't typically notice much breakdown. However, with other cushions, my thin base tends to just disappear due to my natural oils, but this one maintains well. 1. Color range It's disappointing that the color range is so limited. On my shade 21 face, if I layer it more than twice, the color feels too light, so I'm almost forced to apply just one thin layer. 2. Adherence While the overall adherence is great, it always seems to lift a bit between my eyebrows. Everywhere else is fine though. - jy****Dry SkinAcne SkinFeb 15, 2025
It's moisturizing and I'm glad I bought it! No darkening effect, which is great! Unfortunately, it caused blemishes. I got a lot of acne between my eyebrows. - dd******Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 18, 2025
The coverage is excellent and it applies so smoothly! One drop covers half my face, making it great value for money. It gives a natural glow too. I definitely recommend it! It seems to get a bit dry as time passes. Touch-ups are a must! For a more hydrating application, try using a damp sponge with some face mist. - al******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 17, 2025
I bought this in October through a group purchase from an Instagram influencer and I've been using it wonderfully ever since. My complexion is a bit darker than shade 23, and I have dry, warm-toned skin. This product doesn't come in different shades, which might be a concern, but it has a dropper applicator. If you adjust the amount well, it doesn't appear too light on the skin. I think it would work well for both lighter and darker skin tones! I have seborrheic dermatitis on my face, so I try to use only products with good ingredients. This one hasn't caused any blemishes for me. For the redness caused by my dermatitis, I first apply a thin layer of green color corrector, then use the Cell by Cell BB cream with the fluffy puff that came with it, patting it in well. The coverage is also very good! It covers what I think might be freckles or dark spots on my face quite well. The main drawback is that it's quite expensive. You need to stock up during group purchases! If you have dry skin, I think you'll get a nice skin finish if you apply a solid skincare base, then use a brush to apply the product first, followed by patting with a puff.
