While it's called a cream, the consistency is closer to a rich emulsion (slightly thicker than a typical emulsion). The product absorbs well and provides excellent hydration. After application, my skin felt smoother. It gives a subtle glow while delivering great moisturizing effects. This would likely work well for those with dry skin types lacking in natural oils. The oil and moisture balance didn't quite work for me... It's probably individual, but I found the product to be greasy and sticky. It felt like it was sitting on top of my skin rather than absorbing. For me, it seemed to have more of an oily feel than a hydrating one. I wouldn't recommend this for those seeking deep hydration or for oily / combination dehydrated skin types. As someone with combination dehydrated skin on my face, this didn't suit me well, so I mainly use it on my neck and hands. It's a very moisturizing product that makes the skin feel firm and improved in those areas! - ho********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessSep 1, 2024
The absorption, hydration, and overall application are all decent. It's not outstanding, but it gets the job done. While it absorbs quickly, it doesn't skimp on moisturizing. I should mention that I use it on my hands and feet rather than my face. So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes on those areas. Unless you can snag it at a very low price or receive it as a gift, there's really no compelling reason to purchase this product. - gk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMar 1, 2024
I love how it feels like it's creating a soft, thin protective layer on my skin. It's also gentle and non-irritating. It's far too drying. It evaporates so quickly that it's hard to even consider it a cream. - ks********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2023
I urgently switched to this because my previous product wasn't suitable for my skin... Unfortunately, there weren't any positive aspects to mention. As someone with extremely sensitive and dry skin due to rosacea, this product caused severe blemishes, possibly due to clogged pores. The worst part is the unpleasant scent - it smells like plastic! - sj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 21, 2023
My usual cream suddenly stopped working, causing tiny bumps from dryness to appear all over. Then I discovered this cream I had bought earlier and after using it for about three days, the dryness was under control and all those little bumps that looked like dermatitis completely disappeared. I have a skin type that I don't quite understand myself, but my chin is particularly prone to breakouts. Even just changing water can cause small bumps or pustules on my chin. However, after using this cream for about four days, my chin started itching and burning, and this time even large, painful blemishes appeared around my mouth. These weren't ordinary pimples, but more like folliculitis and seborrheic dermatitis. Then I checked the ingredients on Hwahae and found out it contains pore-clogging ingredients. It seems that people who are prone to blemishes when using pore-clogging ingredients or high-concentration formulas should avoid this product.
