ProsAbsorbs ★★★★☆
The texture isn't a fluid type with high moisture content, but rather on the thicker side. It applies smoothly with a buttery feel, but without being too heavy. I'm not a fan of hand creams that leave an oily residue, and this one doesn't feel overly sticky or slippery. It also doesn't absorb too quickly, leaving your skin feeling dry.
Hydration ★★★★☆
The moisturizing power is quite good. Compared to *Soap, it applies more lightly and seems to keep the skin hydrated longer. While *Soap products can feel too slippery after application, the Grand Hand cream doesn't leave an oily residue, yet my skin doesn't feel dry! Among hand creams, it offers pretty decent hydration.
Skin feels ★★★★☆
It's like it leaves a smooth, moisturizing layer on the skin. There's a bit of transfer when using your phone or holding a pen, but it's not excessive. It's not too slippery, just right, so I'm quite satisfied.
Fragrance ★★★★★
The fragrance was my favorite part. With hand creams, I think people often buy based on the scent. Among the Grand Hand products, the Lucien Kah had the most woody, herbal scent. I prefer clean, cool water-based scents, and this product's description mentioned rainy forests, earth, and misty rain. It's a slightly heavy grass, earth, and rain scent.
Top: Lemon, Pepper, Juniper Berry
Middle: Pine, Orris
Base: Sandalwood, Amber, Vanilla
The sandalwood and vanilla in the base notes make it pleasantly soft without the vanilla being overpowering. The lemon and berry seem to add a touch of freshness. These aren't prominent, though - the lingering scent is mostly sandalwood and amber.
ConsPersonally, I didn't check the ingredient list before purchasing, but it seems there aren't many beneficial ingredients, and there are quite a few potentially irritating ones. It's not for the face, so it won't cause blemishes, but for a product with such a nice fragrance, it's disappointing that many of the additional ingredients aren't great.
TipThe 60g size makes it light and easy to carry around. It's perfect for taking with you when you go out.
