I first used this treatment and absolutely loved the sandalwood scent - it's so cozy and comforting! When it was later released as a perfume, I rushed to buy it and now I'm ready to repurchase after using it all up! ▪️Fragrance It's a woody musk scent that's truly amazing. It's like a fresh shower - cozy and sweet, but with a crisp woody note (reminds me of the warm wooden scent of a Jeju Island log cabin... so dreamy!) ▪️Longevity It seems to fade a bit quickly... However, I thought it had disappeared, but others could still smell it (about 4 hours later, though I'm not entirely sure!) I wish they sold a larger size... It's so good that I used it exclusively, even spraying it on my clothes and pillow sometimes before bed. I went through it really quickly! If they sold a bigger bottle, I'd be over the moon. Personally, I tend to associate: Sweet and heavy scents with winter (e.g., Chanel No. 5, Dolce & Gabbana The One EDT) Fresh and light scents with summer (e.g., Le Labo Another 13) But this fragrance feels like it could work for all seasons. The woody notes combined with that fresh-out-of-the-shower coziness make it versatile. In summer and fall, the crisp woody scent seems to cut through the heat and humidity. In winter, the woody notes and shower-fresh coziness feel just right. I'd recommend trying it out at Olive Young or an offline store. I've been using the sandalwood line shampoo and treatment oil, so I bought this fragrance as soon as it launched. The scent is quite similar to what I smell in the shampoo, but it's much heavier with a subtle smoky note mixed in. It's like a temple scent? Unique and pleasant. It pairs especially well with fall and winter. The longevity is too weak, but if you spray too much at once, the smoky scent becomes overpowering and makes me feel nauseous. As a result, I don't reach for it often. I tested it with a mini series before deciding to purchase the full-size product.

This scent is neutral but leans slightly more masculine. It has a woody aroma, but it's not as heavy or pungent as some hair oils. The fragrance is a bit different from typical hair oils. Compared to similar scents in other products, the eau de parfum version is the lightest. While others can be quite heavy, this one is noticeably lighter than hair oils or treatments. While it's an attractive scent, it might surprise those used to treatments, hair oils, or body emulsions, as it's quite different. Personally, I prefer this aspect. The other products in the same line felt a bit too heavy and intense for me, almost to the point of being pungent. For those who find it difficult to test products, consider purchasing a trial kit! I appreciate that there's a refreshing blend of scents mixed with sandalwood. For those who enjoy this fragrance, there's a wide range of compatible products to choose from, offering plenty of options. As with many woody scents, it does have a hint of a tobacco-like smell.

Buying from Olive Young was great - they even threw in 2ml samples of Black Tea & Fig and Basil & Vetiver! Did you know they also had a Long Take pop-up in Seongsu-dong? There's a feeling that the scent has become somewhat lighter... Maybe it's just my imagination? But I loved that the lingering scent after spraying was identical to the treatment - it works hard to maintain that signature fragrance!
