This fragrance has a delightful woody citrus scent that opens with a fresh lime note, harmoniously blending into iris, lilac, basil, and vetiver. It's not your typical light citrus scent; the addition of vetiver and patchouli gives it an extra touch of sophistication! It's perfect as a daily perfume for the upcoming spring and summer seasons, feeling light and effortless. The longevity is quite impressive for an Eau de Parfum. One of the great advantages of this Long Take perfume is its 30ml size, which is ideal for trying out without commitment and small enough to carry around without decanting. It would make a thoughtful and sensible gift for Valentine's Day, whether for a partner or a friend. The design is also appealing, with a wooden-textured cap that complements the sleek, transparent bottle beautifully, creating a minimalist aesthetic that I really appreciate. What's more, it's made with corn-derived alcohol, which is said to give the fragrance a cleaner scent profile. This attention to detail makes me want to recommend it even more! There's not really anything to complain about! I actually preferred that it wasn't an overpowering scent. If you're particularly concerned about longevity, you might want to consider that (though I personally loved it). - sc***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 23, 2024
Among Longtake's eau de parfums, this one's my absolute favorite. It's not an easy scent to describe. It's androgynous yet fresh, crisp with a touch of depth, but not too heavy. It's hard to call it light, but its zesty nature makes it difficult to label as heavy either. I imagine it'd be perfect for that transition from spring to summer, or even at summer's end. It's rare for me to find a fresh fragrance I truly love, but this one strikes a beautifully invigorating and refreshing balance. Longtake fragrances may be pricey for a lesser-known brand, but they're truly high-quality scents. I'm incredibly picky about fragrances, but Longtake consistently avoids harsh, nose-stinging notes. All their scents are well-balanced. This one gets my highest recommendation. The main drawback is the longevity. Perhaps because these aren't overpowering scents, they don't last very long. You get a decent projection of the fragrance for about 2-3 hours, after which it becomes an extremely subtle, delicate lingering scent. You'll need to get your nose right up close to smell it after that. Since it's sold in various places, be sure to compare the included items and prices before making your purchase! - ve*****Oily SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 5, 2024
I appreciated the unique scent. While I know vetiver to be a heavy fragrance, there's something else in there that gives it an incredibly high-end aroma. At first, it strikes you as an uncommon scent, but soon it reminds me of body odor or armpit smell. I thought it might be a fragrance that could be off-putting if not careful. This is definitely a scent you should test thoroughly before deciding to purchase. - lg*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 30, 2023
The scent lasts quite a while! True to its name 'Basil and Vetiver', it has a citrusy and refreshing fragrance. I'm not sure I can detect the basil... Overall, it's a refreshing scent that's perfect for spritzing on during summer.
