I'm not sure if this is actually scalp massage or if my hair has just been completely consumed.
The formula is too thick and sticky, so it feels like the product isn't even reaching my scalp.
I think it would be better to use a scrub product that comes out as a shampoo instead of this.

I bought a scalp care product connected to the face because I thought I should take better care of it as I'm getting older. I use it once a week and it has a scrub, so it feels very refreshing and good. I was worried that I might have fallen for the advertisement, but it seems to be a good product.

After shampooing, apply to the scalp and apply conditioner to the ends of the hair, then leave it. 
Applying directly to the scalp and massaging can be painful due to the scrub, so wait a little for the scrub to dissolve before massaging.
