The coverage and adherence are great. The coverage, in particular, was excellent (but only when my skin was in good condition). Even though I don't have sensitive skin, after using it for over a week, my skin texture became terribly damaged. This is almost unprecedented for me. When your skin is behaving, this foundation really works hard to give you that flawless complexion. However, be cautious with prolonged use, especially if you're prone to blemishes or have combination dehydrated skin. The adherence is really excellent. The texture is thin and the staying power is top-notch. There's darkening, and it's quite noticeable. If you want a radiant makeup look, choose two shades lighter than your usual. For a natural look, go one shade lighter. I used to use shade 22 and bought 21N1, but I was shocked at how dark it made my skin look. It sets incredibly fast. My skin is combination dehydrated with blemishes and super sensitive. By afternoon, my makeup tends to separate or smudge due to excess oil. When my makeup separates, it can look like dead skin cells flaking off, or my pores become visible due to oil, causing the makeup to lift. Most BB creams and foundations just don't work for me. I used to only use Choboyang BB cream, but the coverage was lacking. Then I got a recommendation for this Hera foundation. I tried the compact version first and loved it, so I bought this liquid foundation. It matches my complexion perfectly and absorbs well! It feels moisturizing and adheres to my skin nicely. It does occasionally separate, but I think that's due to lack of hydration or excess heat on my face. I use about 1 to 1.5 pumps, or mix it with BB cream. I'm already on my second bottle! The pump often malfunctions or leaks, making the opening messy. I've heard many reviews recommending mixing Choboyang BB cream with foundation, and it works great with this Hera foundation too! The coverage isn't low by any means. It might be slightly disappointing only if you're looking for heavy coverage, but otherwise, it's truly outstanding. It sets quickly and leans matte, making it great for mixing with trendy BB creams due to its fluid texture. Using it alone is also nice once you get the hang of it - the quick-setting formula can actually be a plus! The color is absolutely beautiful... A neutral ivory that's neither yellow nor pink-toned. It sets extremely fast, so you need to apply it all over your face quickly. By the time you're ready to blend with a puff, it's already set. You've got to be quick or you'll be in trouble. Make sure to prep your skin well. Don't over-moisturize, but focus on deeply hydrating the skin. Use a serum-like product to combat deep dryness, then mix with a BB cream for an all-day dewy glow.
