I have dry skin. During pregnancy, I diligently applied calendula cream on my belly as a stretch mark prevention cream. The moisturizing effect was so good that I didn't get any stretch marks, which is why I chose this soap. After using it, the hydration is excellent. I use a soap net, and it produces a rich, abundant lather. There's no compelling reason to exclusively purchase and use only this product. - ad*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 2, 2025
It cleanses thoroughly like a soap, with excellent cleansing effectiveness. It's firm, so it doesn't soften easily. The gentle ingredients make it a great alternative to body wash. I got it at a reasonable price, and the quality is satisfying, so there's nothing particularly disappointing about it. Using a diatomaceous earth soap dish can prevent the bottom from softening! - ch********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedOct 24, 2024
I bought this face soap for my husband, who's a real man's man and insists on washing his face with regular soap. I was worried about his skin! The size is generous, and the scent isn't overpowering - it's quite nice actually. I snagged it during a sale, so the price was great for the amount you get. We're using it liberally! The fragrance is pleasant, and it has a long shelf life, so stocking up gives me peace of mind. Even though it's marketed as a face soap, it's still quite drying compared to cleansing foams. It's probably better than regular soap, but... my face feels tight after washing. For those who aren't die-hard bar soap users, I'd recommend a mildly acidic foaming cleanser for facial cleansing. To maximize hydration, I'm using it with a foam net. While the soap does wear down faster with a net, it creates a richer lather that feels more moisturizing. Plus, you can keep using the soap even when it gets down to small pieces - that's a bonus! - gr********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedOct 13, 2024
It's a soap with great ingredients. Best of all, it doesn't get mushy and stays firm, which I love. It cleanses really well too. As you use it, you might notice it lathers a bit less. It foamed up nicely at first, but that changes over time. I think it would be even better without the fragrance. - vn****Combination SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2024
The calendula line seems to be a bit more hydrating compared to others At full price, it's a bit questionable whether it's worth buying - dk*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 8, 2024
It seems like a decent, basic soap with good hydration, which I appreciate. It doesn't have a particular scent, which could be a plus for those who prefer fragrance-free products in their basic skincare routine. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. It meets the expectations of a soap - nothing more, nothing less. - do****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2024
My husband prefers bar soap over body wash, so I bought the black soybean and calendula soaps when they were on sale. While I personally wasn't keen on the black soybean soap's scent, this calendula soap has a lovely, fragrant ylang-ylang aroma. Usually, beauty soaps tend to soften and dissolve quickly, but this one is comparatively firm and long-lasting. The visible particles in the soap are basil leaf powder, and it feels gentle and non-irritating when used! It seems they've changed the shape from square to round. Personally, I prefer the square shape. - yo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2024
I've been alternating this with other types of soaps for my morning routine. It's working out great! So far, I haven't found anything to complain about. I'll continue using it happily. - ql*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 25, 2024
Seems pretty decent. I like that I can buy it easily. Not sure about other benefits besides the price though. Hmm, can't really think of any downsides. Maybe because it's cheap? It's worth giving a try. - mo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 16, 2024
The affordable price and its long-lasting effect are impressive. It lathers well and leaves my skin feeling moisturized even after showering. The scent is a bit disappointing. It's not unscented, but has a slight fragrance that's reminiscent of plain soap. The smell isn't particularly appealing. However, it still seems to offer good value for money.
