  Pros

  I have combination dehydrated skin with blackheads, uneven texture, blemishes, and visible pores. As you can see in the photo, I've emptied one jar and repurchased another. This worked well during the transition from spring to summer when my face was dry but oily, with small bumps appearing and skin texture becoming rough. The color and initial application feel like peanut butter, making you question the spreadability. But as you continue massaging, it melts with your skin temperature and applies with an oily feel. The capsules are invisible and non-irritating when applied - I suspect they burst during application, creating that oily texture. However, as time passes, the oily feeling on the skin disappears, leaving a slightly dry sensation. It's not a deep, penetrating hydration. That's why it seems to work well for blemishes caused by excess sebum during seasons that aren't quite winter or summer. It took about a month to finish one jar. By the time I repurchased and started using it again, the season had fully changed to summer, and it felt too heavy to use regularly. It's definitely a transitional season product. The ingredients are gentle, and if you catch it on sale, the price is reasonable too.

  Cons

  There's some pilling, and it can make your face look darker, so I don't recommend using it in the morning. For me, it's not the 'ultimate hydration' as advertised. I probably couldn't use it in the depths of winter.

  I use the ampoule from the same line to address deep dryness and blemishes.

  B.plane is always my trusted go-to brand. I started with their Mung Bean Foam Cleanser and now I'm using their Cica line essence too. It has excellent soothing effects and provides great hydration.

  Cons

  There's nothing I dislike about it. However, it may cause slight pilling when applying makeup.

  As someone with persistent blemishes, I often rely on cica products. After much deliberation, I decided to try this new release. First off, it's fantastic how it leaves my skin incredibly hydrated! What's truly remarkable is that despite applying a generous amount in the evening, thanks to the cica ingredients, it doesn't cause any blemishes.

  While it's hydrating, it feels a bit heavy. If you apply too much in the morning, you might experience some pilling, which is slightly disappointing.

  That's why I've adapted my routine: I use a different cica product in the morning, then apply this one generously at night. This approach leaves my skin wonderfully hydrated.

  It's a light brown cream with tiny white capsules embedded throughout. The texture is thick and firm, and you can feel the capsule particles for quite a while as you apply it to your face. The scent is natural and not artificial, which I found pleasant. It's on the richer side, making it suitable for nighttime care. I appreciated the inclusion of a spatula and an extra lid cover, allowing for hygienic use.

  Unfortunately, there were more disappointments than I expected. The packaging quality stood out as particularly poor. While using a plastic container to reduce costs and improve accessibility is fine, the lid looked especially cheap. The included spatula was also inconvenient to store, making me wish it came in a tube format instead. Most frustratingly, when applied as the final step before makeup, it caused everything to pill and slide off, which was quite vexing. I ended up having to remove everything and start my makeup over. It would have been helpful if they had clearly indicated that this was a nighttime product or warned about potential pilling when used under makeup.

  I found it effective for soothing and long-lasting hydration. When I applied it before bed, I noticed the next morning after washing my face that my skin felt noticeably softer compared to other creams. It seems to maintain the skin barrier and moisture well. I think those with dry skin would really appreciate this. The texture is similar to ceramide-type creams, and I felt it helped strengthen the skin barrier too.

  Cons

  The more you spread it, the oilier it becomes and increases shine. It causes some eye irritation. Perhaps because I used it during the dry winter, it pilled like dead skin and caused itchiness in patches with some clogged pores. I started getting acne near my nose, and gradually more invisible bumps appeared. It might be better for applying on the neck or on drier areas like hands, but at this price point, I'd rather buy a different product.

  First, I apologize for the delay in writing this review. I was away from home for a while and didn't realize I had won the product! 1) The texture looked thick at first, but when I applied it, it spread smoothly without irritating my skin, which was great. 2) There were these little scrub-like particles that seemed to melt and burst as I applied the product. It felt amazing! 3) It's completely fragrance-free, so I could apply it without worrying about artificial scents. This would be perfect for those with sensitive noses. 4) After cleansing and applying this before bed, I woke up to incredibly soft and smooth skin. I'll definitely be using this often. As someone with extremely sensitive, atopic, and combination dehydrated skin, I'm really satisfied that it didn't cause any blemishes.

  Cons

  If I had to point out a downside, it's that when used in skincare steps before makeup, it seemed to cause some pilling. It doesn't appear to be an overly hydrating product, so it might not be suitable for those with very dry skin.

  As mentioned above, I think you can see much better results when using this as part of your nighttime skincare routine!
