However, I sometimes dislike having to twist the cleanser cap. ✔️Product: The expiration date is generous, and the opening is sealed with aluminum foil. It's a slightly yellowish transparent gel form, and at first, I was a bit surprised that the foam didn't immediately appear when I added water, as I had to rub it a bit for the rich foam to form. When I placed it on my palm and lifted my hand, it didn't immediately run off (see photo!). ♡Usage Experience: The product doesn't create an abundance of lather when rubbed, but it's not uncomfortable during cleansing. The application feels smooth and soft. When you lather the gel in your hands and roll it onto your face, it is very gentle without any irritation. Normally, even cleansing foams can cause some irritation after extensive massaging, but this product has a pleasant softness. Although I haven't used it for a long time yet, it seems to prevent my acne from turning into stubborn cystic acne. Skin type: Combination to oily, acne-prone skin ✨ Texture The formula is transparent and runny, and it doesn't produce much lather. (Since it doesn't lather much, the ingredients feel more reassuring...) So I had to dispense a generous amount and work up the lather myself. ✨Cleansing Power I had used gel cleansers from other brands before, and I'm not sure if it's due to the slightly acidic pH, but they would leave a slippery, oily residue behind, so I couldn't even finish using them. This product gave me a similar feeling... Do all gel cleansers tend to be like that? When I had makeup on, I would always use a cleansing oil first, and the oily residue I felt was from the leftover cleansing oil. So when using cleansing oils, I would mix it with my regular cleansing foam. I tried removing concealer and foundation swatches on the back of my hand using just this cleanser, and it removed them thoroughly, so the cleansing power seems good. ✨ Anti-acne Effect: (Acne) It might just be my imagination, but!!!! ☆Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review☆ 1) Texture > It's a refreshing gel formula! It's not heavy at all and very moisturizing, with a natural(?) scent that doesn't have strong likes or dislikes. Personally, I like gel cleansers, so I used it with satisfaction ㅎㅎ 2) Anti-acne Effect > I attached photos on the date of receiving the product and after using it for a week. Overall, the small bumps and the large inflamed ones have been somewhat controlled, and the uneven skin texture has also improved. Pros
The cleanser contains salicylic acid ingredients, which are effective for blemishes! As it is a gel cleanser, it dissolves well in water and the foam doesn't seem too bad. However, when I used a smaller amount, it didn't lather up very well, so I tried using a bit more (about the size of a coin). Due to the gel cleanser's nature, there is a smooth, silky feeling that lingers even after rinsing it off (which seems to provide some moisture and prevent the skin from feeling tight). The scent is like Ricola lemon candy 🍋! The sweet and fragrant scent was so tempting that I almost wanted to eat it while using it...haha, it was hard to resist. I used this product for my first cleansing and then again for my second cleansing! Most of all, I just can't get enough of this scent...haha. The scent is quite pleasant and it lathers well, so I mainly used it for my second cleansing or on days when I was just at home! Although I don't have sensitive skin, it seems to be good for preventing acne during my menstrual cycle! It also seems to reduce the buildup of dead skin cells. Since using this, I haven't had to use a peeling product recently and I feel like there's less dead skin accumulating.
Cons
There's a slight slippery feeling left behind! I can feel this more in the summer, but since I have combination skin, I actually enjoy this feeling more in the transitional seasons, so I think I'll use it more in the fall!
