For a gel, it's surprisingly rich and creamy. The product itself doesn't lather much, so you'll need to use a foam net for effective cleansing. It's great for sensitive skin as it doesn't cause any deep dryness, making it perfect for daily use. First off, the container is so hard to squeeze that it feels like a strength test every morning. While it doesn't cause deep dryness, it does leave a slightly slippery residue. Personally, I only use it in the shower - it doesn't feel thorough enough when used alone for face washing. I highly recommend using a foam net. The less foam you create, the less clean your skin feels. I tried making foam with my hands out of laziness, but it wasn't great. Also, if you have one of those toothpaste tube squeezers, try using it on this - it makes it much easier to dispense the product. - sk********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 15, 2025
I've been using this product daily for two weeks straight. Recently, I was dealing with all sorts of skin issues - blackheads, excess oil, and redness. But after using this "Anti-Acne Gel Cleanser," I noticed a significant reduction in redness, and my blackheads and whiteheads have visibly improved. I'd highly recommend this to anyone with oily skin, those struggling with excessive redness, or people battling stubborn blackheads! One downside is that it feels a bit slippery when rinsing off, so if you don't rinse thoroughly, your face might feel slightly greasy. Also, I haven't seen much improvement yet when it comes to small bumps or inflamed blemishes. If your hands feel too slippery when rinsing your face, I'd suggest washing your hands with soap first, then proceeding to rinse off the cleanser. - so********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 14, 2025
This is seriously amazing for those pesky little blemishes that people often overlook. It's absolutely perfect for uneven skin texture. I absolutely love it! It just makes those spots disappear and leaves your skin feeling super soft. No irritation at all. Because it's a gel, it doesn't lather up well on its own. I put it in my foaming net to use it like a foam cleanser. Definitely use a foaming net with this! - sh*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2025
I'm begging Hwahae consumers to buy this product!! It's that good! My skin type & experience: I have extremely oily skin with acne, excessive sebum, and oil production. But this product... I highly recommend it for several reasons. First, it thoroughly cleanses each and every pore, which really impressed me. After washing, when I look in the mirror, my skin is as smooth as a peeled egg! It's incredible how clean it gets. Second, even though it's a gel cleanser, it lathers up beautifully and leaves my skin feeling so soft. That's another thing I love about it. Lastly, the scent isn't overwhelming, and compared to other cleansers, it's incredibly refreshing. That's the third reason it won me over. It does make my face feel a bit tight, which is slightly disappointing. However, there are so many advantages that I still recommend everyone give it a try! If you have a facial cleansing brush or device, using it with this product will give you absolutely perfect cleansing results. It's seriously amazing! - yu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 4, 2025
* Texture It's a transparent gel formula with a slight yellow tint. Despite being a gel, it lathers well, creating a rich foam that effectively absorbs excess oil and thoroughly cleanses the skin. * Cleansing effectiveness This isn't a squeaky-clean type of cleanser, making it ideal for those with dry skin. It's noticeably less drying than stronger cleansers, reducing that tight feeling after washing. However, it doesn't leave a slippery residue, making it suitable for my combination dehydrated skin. I mainly use it for morning cleansing, and its gentle nature seems to work well with my morning skin condition. * Scent During cleansing, there's a subtle, sweet, and pleasant aroma that makes you want to keep washing. It's surprising that such a nice scent isn't artificial. Though it might be a matter of personal preference. * Irritation Be careful as it can sting quite badly if it gets in your eyes. This burning sensation is unlike anything I've experienced with other cleansers. - a0**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 30, 2025
The texture of this product is absolutely mind-blowing! The scent is lovely and it lathers up nicely. I'm someone who absolutely hates feeling dry, so I usually only use cleansing milks. But lately, I've been alternating between this and my usual cleanser! I think it would work well for all skin types! While there's nothing particularly disappointing about it, I don't think its cleansing effectiveness is exceptionally strong. For those with dry skin or who, like me, can't stand that dry feeling, I recommend using it with plenty of water! - in*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 19, 2025
I tried a sample my sister was using, and I love how it keeps my skin hydrated even after cleansing. It's gentle enough to use morning and night without irritation. It's super moisturizing, and it works great for my combination dehydrated skin and my sister's combination skin too! However, it leaves a slippery feeling on the skin even after rinsing, similar to low pH cleansers. Those who dislike this sensation might not enjoy it. It's fine if you rinse about 30 times. - ry******Combination SkinAcne SkinApr 13, 2025
I tend to have some whiteheads and a bit of acne. Using this product doesn't make my blemishes worse. I've been using this for two weeks now, but since it contains some high-risk ingredients, I plan to stop once I finish this bottle. While it doesn't cause more blemishes, I haven't noticed any significant reduction either. - hu*******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessMar 24, 2025
I bought this after seeing an Instagram ad, but it immediately caused a reaction as soon as I used it. After washing, it left my skin feeling slippery, so the overall experience was disappointing. Blemishes appeared right away and my skin became red, so now I'm using it as a hand soap... :/ - qo*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 17, 2025
Great for thin, super sensitive combination dehydrated skin! Works well as a morning cleanser or second cleanse. The scent is lovely. While it doesn't completely prevent blemishes, it significantly reduces their occurrence. For example, if you'd normally get 10 blemishes, you might only get 5; if you'd get 5, you might only get 3; and if you'd get 3, you might only get 1. It helps maintain clearer skin and gradually reduces breakouts. I haven't had any major acne issues except during times of low immunity like before my period, or when I've accidentally irritated my skin. At first, I experienced some redness that looked like a rash, making me wonder if it didn't suit my skin. But it seems it was just an adjustment period. I haven't had any side effects since then. As for helping with blackheads, I'm not sure about that - especially on my nose and forehead. But it definitely improved the condition of my cheeks! I've been using this as my cleanser without any additional exfoliating products. My skincare routine includes toners with small amounts of AHA and BHA, along with panthenol for gentle exfoliation and anti-aging benefits. For any small whiteheads that pop up, I manage them with the green Acne-Non cream.
