Actually, when I try to write, it takes a long time and I can't keep up with the speed of the gray hair growth. I have to dye it anyway.

It was good to know that gray hair can be dyed without dyeing, just with a simple shampoo.

The dyeing effect was minimal. I tried several methods, but I hardly felt any effect.

I used it for about 3 months in the first half of 2024. I purchased it from Olive Young.

I used it all up in less than two months, and to be honest, I barely felt the expected dyeing effect. I was disappointed that my gray hair didn't change much.

I'm in my 20s and have been concerned lately about the increasing number of gray hairs, so I saw an advertisement for the Modamoda Black Shampoo on social media and decided to try it out.
The cap is really interesting! It seems convenient to carry around when traveling, as it's not a large volume. The formula is thin, so it's easy to use, and it lathers well, allowing me to use it just like a regular shampoo. The overall feel is similar to a regular shampoo, so I was able to use it without any aversion. It's not bad overall.
However...

The effects may take a long time to appear, so you'll need to do it frequently.

There is a lot of lather, so you can expect good results.

However, the hair color did not take well,
and the final perming process did not work as expected.

The lather was good and the cleansing power was average.
It did not leave any residue on the bathtub, sink, or my nails.
The fragrance had a herbal scent, but it did not linger after washing.

While the 1st generation showed noticeable effects after a month of use, this product not only has a weak darkening effect, but it doesn't work at all. I'm even using my second bottle, but there is absolutely no darkening. The company explains that the color changes to a lighter gray, but from the user's perspective, there is zero darkening. I wish they would bring back the 1st generation...

The foam is softer and more dense than the 1st generation. There is no metallic(?) smell.

The hair dye doesn't work for me. Is there anyone who has had success with it? There's no refreshing feeling after washing my hair, and I think this product was previously involved in a controversy over carcinogenic substances. I bought a headache medication, but I'm considering throwing it away.

It is a foaming gel type product. But the hair dye lasts well for about 1 month of use.

2. The new gray hair is slightly yellowish, but the coloring effect is barely noticeable compared to the 1st generation Modamoda..

But the thicker, more established gray hairs don't get good coverage. If you try to dye them, it takes a long time. The advertising claims may be a bit exaggerated - based on what I've seen so far, the thick, long-standing grays don't show any signs of being colored.

Unless you have grays that are just starting to come in, the rate of gray growth is faster than expected. It would take at least 7 uses over 14 days to see any real results, so I'm not sure if you can keep up with the growth.

I'll keep using what I have left, since it's a waste otherwise. As someone who normally uses a dandruff shampoo with peppermint and mint, using this shampoo makes my scalp feel a bit tingly and itchy after rinsing.

The formula is runny, but it lathers well and has a rich, creamy texture.
Even with a thicker formula, shampoos and conditioners can still run into your eyes or drip down, but the Zero Gray Black Shampoo has a rich, creamy lather that doesn't run as much.

The fragrance is like my dad's skin scent, a strong masculine skin scent.
It seems they used a strong fragrance to cover the typical metallic smell, but it's not really my preferred scent.

Surprisingly, my hair felt soft after using it, and even though it's a gray-covering shampoo, I was worried it would stain the bathroom, but that didn't happen.

When I looked in the mirror right after using it, the few white gray hairs had a slight yellowish-transparent tint, about 2% mixed in. So I thought, 'Oh no, this isn't going to work at all.'

After the first use, about 3cm of new growth at the top/center of my head had turned slightly brown, making the grays less noticeable. But the 10-15cm of grays at the crown and back of my head didn't change.

After the second use, the grays in the longer, established areas still didn't change.

After the third use, it was similar.

At least the newer, finer gray hairs get decent coverage, even with limited use.

It's a shame that the color options are limited, and that it requires a waiting time.

The usage is the same as regular shampoo, but you need to leave it on the hair for 2-6 minutes depending on the hair length.
Even though it's a black shampoo, it doesn't stain the hands or the bathroom, and it doesn't damage the hair either, which is great.
