I have dry skin and always prefer gentle, moisturizing foam cleansers. I used to love the Scinic Avocado Foam Cleanser, so I decided to repurchase it after a while. I thought the packaging had been renewed, but it turns out the formula and user experience have completely changed. It no longer creates that rich, dense foam I loved, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling squeaky clean. I won't be repurchasing this again. When it comes to cleansers, those with dry skin often seek products that effectively cleanse without stripping the skin of its natural oils. A good foam cleanser should create a luxurious lather while still being gentle and hydrating. Unfortunately, when beloved products undergo formulation changes, it can be disappointing for loyal users who relied on the original's benefits. - mc****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
It's mildly acidic but still lathers well, making it easy to use. I really like it! The amount is a bit overwhelming... It might be heavy to carry around. But I still like it! - du*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 15, 2025
After using it for 5 days, I can say it feels more hydrating after cleansing compared to the original avocado foam. So far, I have no complaints. The large size is perfect since my whole family uses it. - bl********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 13, 2025
I'm pleasantly surprised by how gentle this is on my skin. It doesn't contain any irritating ingredients, which is a big plus. The foam isn't as rich and creamy as I'd like. I also wish the product came in a smaller size. - db*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 23, 2025

I'm so relieved I realized this product was the cause. I shudder to think how much worse my skin would have been if I had continued using it unknowingly. Oh, how I wish they would bring back the pre-renewal version for sale... I had been using the pre-renewal product for about 5 years and absolutely loved it. Naturally, I assumed the renewed version would be similar and used it without hesitation. But wow, while I don't usually get red blemishes, I started noticing 2-3, then 4-5 spots slowly appearing, almost like an allergic reaction. I suspected it might be the product, so I stopped using it, and sure enough, the spots stopped appearing. Thankfully, I caught on early and discontinued use. It's such a shame, the pre-renewal version was so good. I really wonder why they changed the formula... - tk**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 28, 2025
I can't believe I haven't written a review for this product yet... I've been using it exclusively for years since I first discovered it. Even through reformulations and shipping mix-ups that led me to accidentally try the gel cleanser from the same line, this product has remained by my side. I've enthusiastically recommended it to others, even lending it out, and now some of my friends have switched to this cleansing foam too. Skin type: Combination dehydrated, extremely sensitive. My skin throws a fit with even the slightest hint of harsh ingredients. It's quite the demanding complexion to please... Now for the benefits: - No irritation: My skin is prone to blemishes from the tiniest provocation, but this product doesn't boast any fancy features that might cause issues. It's actually more comfortable because of that. I'm usually wary of cleansers claiming to exfoliate or have special pore-clearing abilities, but this one simply focuses on gentle cleansing, which I appreciate. - Cleansing effectiveness: To be honest, as it's a mild foam cleanser, it might not be ideal for those seeking a deep cleanse. However, for my sensitive skin that only wears light makeup, it's perfect. - Hydration: While it may not provide intense moisture, it definitely leaves my skin feeling less tight after washing compared to more stripping cleansers. It's reasonably hydrating for what it is. - Lather: It produces a nice foam. A small amount is sufficient to cleanse your entire face thoroughly. - Price: I find it very affordable. I always buy two large bottles at a time to keep stocked up. It's such good value for such a gentle cleanser at this price point. - Post-reformulation texture: It feels a bit thinner after the reformulation. Previously, I could create ample foam with even less product. While it might feel more hydrating now, it was already quite light before. Some people worry it might not cleanse as effectively, though I'm not concerned. It's definitely runnier, which was surprising at first - more product comes out than expected when squeezing. - Cap: The new cap seems a bit loose after the reformulation. Even when fully closed, it doesn't feel completely secure. As I often pack my skincare in a suitcase for work trips, this makes me a bit uneasy. It closes, but there seems to be a visible gap. Just give it a try. If you have sensitive skin that makes you skeptical even of gentle cleansing foams and forces you to scrutinize reviews before purchasing, I highly recommend trying this product. If you're looking for a deeper cleanse, you might want to use a cleansing water first, then follow up with this cleanser. Personally, I find daily use of cleansing water too harsh, so I only do this on days when I've worn heavier makeup and need a more thorough cleanse. (Of course, this excludes eye makeup - I always remove that separately with a dedicated lip and eye remover.) It won't harm your skin. Give it a chance! - me********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2025
My skin type is combination-oily and sensitive. I love that this cleanser has rich lather and is slightly acidic. It cleanses gently without irritation, leaving my skin feeling fresh. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it, so there's nothing I'm particularly disappointed about. - jl*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 18, 2025
I absolutely adore this product - it's simply perfect! If I ever become a mother, I'll definitely insist my child only uses Scinic. I've been using it for quite a while now, and I'm already twenty. I believe it's this Scinic brand, especially this cleansing foam, that allowed me to spend my teenage years without acne worries or stress. In the past, my skin was a major source of stress, but ever since I started using the Avocado Cleansing Foam, my skin began to improve. Now, I consistently maintain good skin. The reason I love it so much is its outstanding cleansing effectiveness, coupled with even better hydration. It's slightly acidic, produces amazing foam, and causes absolutely no irritation. Among all the gentle products out there, this one is truly the gentlest. After using it, when I look in the mirror, I always think, 'Wow, my skin looks amazing!' Every single day. It cleanses blemishes and dead skin cells so well that there's no residue left. (I think this aspect has improved even more since the product was renewed.) I use this morning and night, and it's so gentle that it doesn't burden even my super sensitive skin at all. This is a benefit of all Scinic products. I truly plan to use Scinic Avocado Cleansing Foam for the rest of my life! There's not a single thing I dislike about this product. Even with all these benefits, Scinic is still affordably priced... Even if I tried to find a flaw, I couldn't. It's a god-tier cleansing foam! - 62********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2025
It's quite gentle and doesn't cause irritation. Best of all, the price is incredibly reasonable. This is just personal preference, but I prefer a finish that feels a bit more squeaky clean.
