The formula is solid and has such intense pigmentation that it can be used as a substitute for lipstick.

For my dry skin, it seems to have almost no moisturizing power...

It's a bit inconvenient that when you twist up the lip balm, it sometimes doesn't retract easily. You have to carefully push it back down bit by bit. Occasionally it goes back in smoothly, but often I find myself twisting it down while applying it to my lips.

The scent is quite mild (almost unscented), making it suitable for everyone without any love-hate reactions.

I thought the color would be intense, but when I applied it, it wasn't as bold as I expected

However, for those with cool-toned skin, it has a subtle orange tint. It's red, of course, but with just a hint of orange - like a drop or two mixed in. The issue is that even a slight touch of orange makes my complexion look dull, so I don't reach for it often. As I'm a big fan of Melixir lip balms, I bought three, but now I'm using them as backups.

Here's my review after two months of use (photos taken with iPhone's default camera). In conclusion: It's slightly disappointing for cool-toned skin. The lip balm itself is very satisfying. It's moisturizing and smooth. Unlike other lip balms that caused a lot of dead skin cells to appear, this one doesn't. It's perfect for quick and easy application at work.
