The price is reasonable and the color payoff is just right, making it a solid choice for everyday use. It may slightly emphasize dry patches on chapped lips. Other than that, I'm satisfied with it. I bought it to try instead of lipstick since it's winter, and the color payoff was good. For my dry skin, it seems to have almost no moisturizing power... Although it applies well and has good color payoff, I was a bit disappointed that it was so drying. Review of a lip balm I'm on my 3rd tube of: 1. Application When it comes to lip balms, isn't how it applies the most important thing? As someone with an abundance of dead skin cells on my lips, I'm always using lip balms, and this one is fantastic because it's moisturizing without being sticky. 2. Color For a lip balm, the color payoff is surprisingly similar to how it looks in the tube. It's perfect for using as a lipstick alternative (since water-based tints tend to emphasize flaky skin) due to its pigmentation. 3. Scent The scent is quite mild (almost unscented), making it suitable for everyone without any love-hate reactions. It's a bit inconvenient that when you twist up the lip balm, it sometimes doesn't retract easily. You have to carefully push it back down bit by bit.
