I really like lavender-toned lips, but I find that very dark, blackish shades don't suit me well. Lighter shades work better, but I couldn't find many options like that. Purples usually have a lighter version, but most lavender lips I've seen have an extremely deep color. Lilac and lavender-named lips tend to show up very faintly, which is disappointing. That's why I went searching and found this lip pencil. In the end, I'm completely satisfied. It's the perfect light lavender. Since I bought it for the color, I apply it as a full lip and then top it with a matte purple-toned lip, which makes it look much brighter and cooler - I love it. The staying power is also good.
ConsSince I bought this for the color, I find that using it as a full lip means the amount is a bit lacking. That also makes the price feel a bit high. And it's too thick and blunt to precisely line my lips.

First of all, it's not a product that precisely defines the lip line, but it's really easy to just dab on. And even if it doesn't cover the entire lip/face skin, it applies nicely and evenly without worrying about it bleeding beyond the lip line. Unless you apply it excessively to the point where the purple tone is very prominent, the product gives more of a sense of blurring the edge boundaries rather than strong color payoff. If you have a fair, cool-toned complexion, it might be worth trying it out.
ConsFirst of all, if the main lip product you've already applied hasn't dried completely, when you apply this on top, it ends up spreading it around... so the lip line doesn't get a clean blurred effect (it's actually just bleeding).
TipI haven't tried the gloss formula, but even when using the matte formula, it's better to apply the pencil after the lips are sufficiently set. I've also tried using it as a blush, and the longevity on the cheeks was decent. But the formula isn't the most convenient for applying on the cheeks. I've tried it under the eyes too, and the color payoff was nice and diffused. However, the powdery formula tends to migrate up there, so that's a bit iffy as well. I think I'll just stick to using this as a lip pencil!
