Those pencil-like concealers meant for this area often look unnatural and settle into fine lines, which I dislike. But this one is different! It has a clean look with subtle champagne-colored shimmer that appears natural. When applied to the under-eye area, it instantly brightens and creates a soft, plump aegyo sal effect. It's exactly what I've been searching for!
ConsThe pencil-like shape makes application a bit rough and scratchy. It goes on lightly but with a slightly irritating texture. The staying power is short-lived, and the shimmer doesn't adhere well to the skin. It feels delicate, like it might break if dropped. I'm unsure about repurchasing.
TipWhen choosing an under-eye brightener, look for products that offer a natural-looking glow without emphasizing fine lines. Cream formulas often work better than pencils for this delicate area, providing smoother application and better hydration. Always set with a light powder to improve longevity and prevent creasing.

ConsStrong pencil-like scent Requires a sharpener - sold separately for an extra cost Du Beige shade looks unnatural - appears obviously artificial on aegyo-sal Poor longevity - smudges easily Breaks easily Expensive - 9,900 won at Olive Young
TipDisappointing compared to its popularity, a regrettable purchase. Don't be fooled by the advertising.

With proper amount control, it's easy to use as a highlighter.
ConsThe staying power is shorter than expected. It breaks too easily... Buy it when there's a sharpener promotion. You need a thick, specialized sharpener for this.
TipIf it's not applying well, it's usually because the outer layer has hardened or clumped. You need to sharpen it more often than you might think to maintain its color payoff.

It's perfect for naturally drawing aegyo-sal, and can also be used as eyeshadow or highlighter, allowing you to achieve multiple makeup effects with just one product. The color shimmers subtly without being overwhelming, making it ideal for daily makeup. Especially when doing aegyo-sal makeup, the fine particles create a natural and subtle sparkle. Being a pencil type, it's easy to apply, making it suitable even for beginners. I often use it lightly on my eyelids as eyeshadow or apply it slightly under my eyes for aegyo-sal makeup, and I've been consistently pleased with the results. When used as a highlighter, applying it lightly on the cheeks or the tip of the nose adds a natural glow without being excessive. The texture is smooth, allowing for multiple layers without pilling, and the color blends well with the skin, making it great for various makeup looks. Compared to similar multi-use products, its application and color payoff are excellent. Above all, I'm really satisfied with its versatility. If you're looking for a convenient product for daily makeup, I highly recommend this item.
ConsThe downside is that the cap comes off easily. I've had a few instances where the cap came off in my bag, causing the pencil to break. When carrying it, you need to make sure the cap is securely fastened, and even when storing it at home, you need to be careful. If this aspect could be improved, it would be even better.

If you want to highlight your aegyo sal (under-eye fat), this is a must-have! It's also adorably cute when applied to the inner corners of your eyes...
ConsIt feels a bit crumbly? The slightly powdery texture is a bit disappointing.

Gives a cooler look. Also seems less shimmery than #1, possibly due to the color difference. °In the hand swatch, Shining Linen is on top, Dewy Beige below. The color difference is clearly visible in the hand swatch. °For the aegyo sal (under-eye area) swatch, Shining Linen is on the left eye, Dewy Beige on the right. I've labeled the colors in the aegyo sal photo. You can see both the shimmer effect and color difference between the two products in this swatch. While #1 was more about adding shimmer, Dewy Beige has less of a shimmery feel but gives the aegyo sal a more three-dimensional look. Personally, I'm very satisfied with Dewy Beige. I think I'll use it daily. That said, I've been using Shining Linen well too! I plan to use Shining Linen for more subdued makeup looks.
ConsIf you found #1 to be just shimmery on the eyes or somehow looked heavy, try Dewy Beige!

It looked so pretty that I had to buy it, and it turns out it's quite a popular item! It was sold out everywhere, so I had to pre-order it and finally got my hands on it. It creates such a natural-looking aegyo sal (under-eye puff) that it's perfect for everyday makeup! The product has very fine shimmer particles, and even though I have a fair complexion, the light beige tone doesn't look too obvious on me. My skin around the eyes is quite pale, but this product applies smoothly, which I really like!
ConsIt looks almost too natural for my skin tone... I wish it was just a tad brighter.
TipIn the photo I uploaded, I deliberately applied multiple layers and really emphasized the aegyo sal to make it more noticeable! When you apply it with just one light stroke, it brightens your under-eye area very naturally. If you want a more noticeable effect, apply several layers and then add a touch of a brighter (more white-toned) aegyo sal makeup product on top!

It's versatile too, flattering both warm and cool skin tones.
ConsWhen you first use it, the outer layer might be a bit dry, which can feel uncomfortable. But don't worry! After using it a bit and sharpening, it becomes much smoother and more comfortable to apply.
