The Protage pencil not only has beautiful bright colors for aegyo-sal, but the darker shades are truly stunning as well. Tender Brown has a golden shimmer that makes it look radiant rather than dull. It's perfect for softening eyeliner or adding depth when applied to the triangle zone. The airy and powdery formula applies smoothly without clumping. For long-lasting makeup, I layer it over a concealer pencil. This subtle contouring shade makes eyes appear larger when applied to the aegyo-sal area. With no redness, it's great for light skin tones too. The pencil format is convenient for on-the-go touch-ups! I highly recommend it as a brown eyeshadow with fine shimmer. There can be slight irritation if applied directly to the eye area. To avoid this, gently swipe it on your pinky finger first, then apply delicately to your eyes for an irritation-free application. - is********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2024
Based on the deep undertone shade, it's easy to create a lovely aegyo-sal shadow effect when applied with a thin brush. The result is beautiful and flattering. The excessive shimmer makes it difficult to touch up. For those who prefer a light application, the staying power is weak. The durability is also poor (sigh). It's great for contouring the nose or adding eye shadow in the triangle zone instead of eyeliner when applied with a brush. The photos show shades 9, 10, and 13 from top to bottom. Shade 13 Tender Brown is a classic brown without excessive yellow, red, or gray undertones. The texture strikes a perfect balance - not too soft to make the makeup too intense, nor too stiff to irritate the eyes. It's ideal for filling in the inner corner or adding depth to the eyelids. I bought shade 13 as a quick eyeshadow alternative for rushed mornings, but it turned out lighter than expected. Compared to powder eyeshadows, it doesn't blend as easily, which made it a bit tricky to use. - al*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2023
The Too Cool For School Protage Pencil is great for quick application in the morning, which is why I use it often. Although I was initially disappointed when it arrived with torn packaging, the color payoff and overall performance aren't bad. The more you use it, instead of becoming softer, it feels like it's getting harder. It's almost like coloring your eyes with a colored pencil. - bm*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 11, 2023
I was on the fence about buying it, but the brown shade seems pretty versatile. While it's not my absolute best color, I think it would work well for both warm and cool skin tones. Just a little dab in the inner corner of the eye creates a sultry look. If you apply it with a light hand, there aren't really any major drawbacks to this product. It's a bit stiff in texture, though.
