  It really helps improve the skin barrier, making your complexion feel softer and smoother! As someone who's struggled with acne-prone skin, leaving behind blemishes and uneven texture, I could feel my skin becoming silky smooth and the overall texture improving! The product is so gentle that I didn't experience any itching after use! It's perfect for those with dry skin, and I'd also recommend it for super sensitive skin types! The hydration power was absolutely top-notch!! I'd highly recommend this to anyone who, like me, has dealt with severe acne during puberty and is left with significant scarring and rough skin texture.

  The tube format allows for clean and easy application, and it seems to have excellent hydration properties. It's marketed as a functional skincare product for improving the skin barrier and reducing itchiness. I applied it morning and night for a week on my child's legs, who has mild atopic dermatitis. My child's skin, which usually flares up and gets itchy with even slight dryness, completely calmed down after a week of use. They didn't even scratch! In winter, I always finished with Bepanthen after body cream, but it's amazing how this product alone improves the skin. The absorbs well, and after gently massaging it in, it absorbs like a protective layer on the skin.

  Cons

  As it applies like a coating, my husband with oily skin found it a bit heavy during application and said his face felt greasy afterwards. After some time, there was an oily sheen on his face. It might feel a bit suffocating for those with oily skin, while those with very dry skin might benefit from applying an extra layer. As someone with extremely dry skin, I felt a slight dryness in the morning, so in the evening I took my time and applied two layers.

  Tip

  I'm considering repurchasing this product since it worked so well for my child. For the peak of winter, mixing a drop or two of jojoba oil into the cream could make it the ultimate hydration solution.

  The absorption is fantastic, and it feels like a hybrid between a cream and an emulsion! With the dry winter weather causing static electricity, this product applies smoothly like an emulsion after showering, without any stickiness. However, it provides a richer moisturizing effect than a typical emulsion! While I'm not sure about its effect on itching, I feel like my skin is more hydrated than before, resulting in a smoother complexion.

  While the texture and hydration were great, I'm not a fan of the scent. It has an artificial fragrance that reminds me of plastic, mixed with something like a mugwort scent - it's quite peculiar. I think it would be fine if it were completely unscented, as I'm quite sensitive to fragrances. I definitely don't like this particular scent! If they could improve the fragrance, I'd be 100% willing to use this as my go-to skin emulsion.

  A small amount spreads well and absorbs quickly into the skin. As you apply it, it turns white like a white cast, but as you continue to massage it in, it absorbs and feels like it's softly coating your skin. Amazingly, by the end, your skin feels as if you haven't applied anything at all. As time passes, the hydration lasts for a long time, and my skin didn't feel dry. There was no itching or blemishes, and my skin felt comfortable. It was especially great during the cold season when my skin usually gets itchy, cracked, and peels - I could see my complexion becoming brighter and clearer. The difference in texture and color between areas where I applied the cream and where I didn't was noticeably visible. It makes me want to keep using it. The texture is creamy, so it feels rich, and the scent is a subtle and pleasant baby powder fragrance.

  When I used it, I was initially worried about the white cast-like appearance when first applied. I wished it absorbed a bit better. It seems like it would suit all skin types well. There were no blemishes or itching.

  The texture is somewhere between a regular body cream and Avaeno's Ato Oatmeal Cream. It might seem a bit thick, but it absorbs well. The scent isn't artificial, though there's a basic smell from the ingredients. As you can see from the packaging, it's a skin barrier functional cosmetic and seems effective for improving itchiness. Despite its texture, it absorbs quickly and doesn't feel sticky soon after application. I found it resolved dryness when applied to my legs, which tend to get dry easily. As it's a product for the whole family, I applied it to my 5 and 8-year-old children, and they didn't experience any itchiness or dryness.

  The feel was fine right after using it, but after a few uses, my children started complaining about itchy legs. I'm not sure if it's because of the dry winter weather or if the product just doesn't suit them since we haven't used it before. Personally, I found the product to be okay.

  My skin is combination on the face, but I have super sensitive, dry skin with atopic dermatitis on my body. I wasn't really familiar with CeraVe products before, but now I love them so much that I want to try their other products too! Here's what I liked: 1. It significantly reduced itching, especially on my legs where I often have poor circulation and irritation. 2. It helped strengthen my skin barrier. It feels like it creates a protective moisturizing layer on my skin. My thin, sensitive skin seems healthier now! 3. I appreciate that it contains 10,000ppm of ceramide NP. 4. The texture is very similar to my favorite Aestura cream. 5. I thought it might be too oily and not absorb well, but it actually absorbs faster than expected. 6. While not completely fragrance-free, it has a subtle scent (possibly mugwort oil?) that becomes almost unnoticeable after absorption. 7. I like that it has fewer ingredients compared to other brands, focusing on just the essential ones. 8. It's great that 99.4% of the ingredients are naturally derived. 9. This product changed my mind about shea butter and oils. Usually, I avoid them as they irritate my face, but I could apply this without any irritation. 10. The madecassoside ingredient seemed to help heal scratches on my legs. 11. It's reassuring that it's gentle enough for babies to use. 12. The hydration seems to last longer compared to other brands. 13. I prefer tube packaging over jars or plastic containers. It's more hygienic, and you can cut open the tube to use every last bit of the product.

  Cons

  The downside is that it leaves a slightly greasy feeling even after a while. Although it applies and absorbs well, the shininess lasts a bit too long, which is disappointing. Despite this, I'd still give it five stars and would repurchase it.

  Tip

  After applying once and letting it absorb for a while, reapply to particularly dry areas. As everyone knows, when the product is almost finished, cut the tube in half and use a spatula to scrape out the remaining product for a thorough use.
