I never expected Isntree to have exactly what I was looking for! It's basically a moisturizing, fluid emulsion that adheres thinly and smoothly to the skin. It's great for everyday use without any fuss. To be honest, these days most sunscreens are pretty good, so whatever you use tends to be above average. You might wonder, 'Isn't SPF 30 too low for sun protection?' But the difference in protection between SPF 30 and 50 is only about 1%. Unless you're spending hours outside in midsummer, SPF 30 is perfectly fine. So if you have super sensitive skin, trying a sunscreen with a lower SPF could be a good option!
ConsLooking at the ingredients, I noticed silica is somewhere in the middle. As someone with oily skin, I liked that it didn't make me excessively shiny, but I think those with very dry skin might find it less moisturizing than expected. After using it for a while, I have to add a downside I noticed. The silica is supposed to control oil, but I find its effect a bit bothersome. Even with my oily skin, the silica doesn't completely stop oil production. It's like my skin feels artificially dry underneath, but the surface still gets shiny from my natural oils. Despite having oily skin, I can feel a subtle deep dryness, which is a bit disappointing.
TipIf you have oily skin, try using half the amount of your usual emulsion or cream before applying this organic sunscreen to reduce shine. Also, with this fluid-type sunscreen, it's good to apply a generous amount for proper protection.
