If you're looking for something lightweight to use in summer, this might be a great choice. I was curious about it being called a sun gel, but it's not completely runny - more of an emulsion feel? It seems to be fragrance-free as I didn't notice any scent while using it. True to its name as a sun gel, it spreads smoothly with a moisturizing effect and absorbs well into the skin. In winter, it might be better suited for oily skin rather than dry skin. It lives up to its sun gel name, applying smoothly with a hydrating effect and absorbing well into the skin. The texture is more like an emulsion, so it gives you that bare-faced look. I'd only recommend it if you're expecting sun protection functionality. After applying, I did get a few small blemishes. I'll need to use it more to be sure, but those with super sensitive skin might want to be cautious. It's not suitable if you're looking for a brightening moisturizer or base makeup effect. - a0*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 1, 2025
If you've always disliked sunscreens that leave a sticky residue or white cast, I highly recommend this sun gel! True to its name, it's incredibly refreshing and feels so light, you'll hardly notice you're wearing it! I haven't found any drawbacks yet, but I'll update my review after using it consistently for about a month! - ru*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2025
Among Korean brands, finding an organic sunscreen with SPF 30 was like searching for a needle in a haystack. I never expected Isntree to have exactly what I was looking for! It's basically a moisturizing, fluid emulsion that adheres thinly and smoothly to the skin. It's great for everyday use without any fuss. To be honest, these days most sunscreens are pretty good, so whatever you use tends to be above average. You might wonder, 'Isn't SPF 30 too low for sun protection?' But the difference in protection between SPF 30 and 50 is only about 1%. Unless you're spending hours outside in midsummer, SPF 30 is perfectly fine. So if you have super sensitive skin, trying a sunscreen with a lower SPF could be a good option! Looking at the ingredients, I noticed silica is somewhere in the middle. As someone with oily skin, I liked that it didn't make me excessively shiny, but I think those with very dry skin might find it less moisturizing than expected. After using it for a while, I have to add a downside I noticed. The silica is supposed to control oil, but I find its effect a bit bothersome. Even with my oily skin, the silica doesn't completely stop oil production. It's like my skin feels artificially dry underneath, but the surface still gets shiny from my natural oils. Despite having oily skin, I can feel a subtle deep dryness, which is a bit disappointing. If you have oily skin, try using half the amount of your usual emulsion or cream before applying this organic sunscreen to reduce shine. Also, with this fluid-type sunscreen, it's good to apply a generous amount for proper protection. - so**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
I used this product from February 3rd to 23rd, and what I particularly liked was that it kept my skin hydrated without feeling heavy. It has a lightweight texture that doesn't burden the skin. Even though my skin is somewhat sensitive, I didn't experience any blemishes. I highly recommend it! Compared to other sunscreens, its UV protection isn't as effective. That was a bit disappointing. - ch*************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessNov 1, 2024
It's great for light application, but I'm not sure how effective it is for sun protection The amount is less than I expected, so it might run out quickly. Not sure about the value for money... - sa***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2024
I really liked that it has a low SPF and is a gentle, non-irritating product! Nothing in particular. I'm not very familiar with this brand as I've just heard of it for the first time. - km********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2024
I appreciate that it doesn't have a high sun protection factor, making it ideal for those who spend most of their time indoors. An SPF of 30 and PA+++ is sufficient for everyday use. It's perfect for sensitive skin types. The hyaluronic acid ingredient provides a smooth application and hydration, which seems great for dry skin. Its strength can also be its weakness. When outdoors, you'll need to reapply frequently due to the lower protection factor. This product is suitable for daily use when you're mostly indoors and don't want the burden of applying a high SPF sunscreen.
