First off, the color is absolutely gorgeous! It looks different on the back of your hand versus on your lips, so definitely check out the lip swatches on the official website - it's spot on! For those with a deep undertone, bright cool-toned pinks are particularly flattering. This product gives your lips that stunning 'light switch on' effect, but without being overwhelming or excessive. It allows for a beautifully fresh and youthful look! Pro tip: don't just use it alone - layer a glossy, deeper-toned tint on top for an even more stunning effect! The product quality speaks for itself - the color payoff, longevity, and staining power are all perfect. I'm planning to stock up on a few more! The only downside is that the packaging isn't particularly attractive. It would be nice if it were a bit more sophisticated, but it's not a deal-breaker at all! Oh, and the applicator could be a bit smaller to allow for more precise application, as you need to be careful with how much product you use. You really need to control the amount you apply. If you put on too much, it can look patchy and sit on top of the skin instead of blending in seamlessly. - dj****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 26, 2024
I fell in love with La Fleur's color payoff and bought it to use as a base. Although I was a bit surprised at first because the color was different from what I saw on screen, it looks beautiful when mixed with other shades! It fills in the lip lines nicely, creating a slight yogurt effect, but when you apply another layer, it goes on smoothly with a velvety feel. It has a strong white undertone, almost like strawberry milk? As a warm-toned person, it looks a bit too cool for me to wear alone, so I use it as a base. When I layer it under a plum shade and blend it inwards, it looks absolutely gorgeous! The longevity could be better, but I love the color so much that I can overlook it! Keep in mind that colors can look different in person compared to on screen. They have mini sizes available, so it might be worth trying those first before committing to a full-size purchase! - dl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsFeb 26, 2024
〰️ My Skin Type 〰️ Shade 21.5-22 with yellow undertones Primarily light undertone Secondarily Summer Pale ⭕️ Product Usage Details 1st photo: Bare lips 2nd photo: Applied with one dab and spread 3rd photo: Pilling Disappeared after brushing teeth ⭕️ Recommended For Deep undertone Cool-toned with deep undertone ⭕️ Application Not great... Initially applies well, but later pills excessively. Tends to settle into fine lines. The more you apply, the worse it gets. Not sure if visible in the photo, but it pills like this. Not pretty. Somehow feels like it separates from lip balm when applied on top. ⭕️ Absorption Uneven color payoff. As you can see in the photos, it spreads messily, resulting in poor staining. It does sink in, but the color seems to sit on top. Oddly enough, it barely transfers. ⭕️ Moisturizing Effect Emphasizes dead skin cells and feels dry ❌ Disappointing Aspects Overall unsatisfactory... No intention to repurchase. More cons than pros. Regret buying it as soon as it launched... The color seems designed for deep undertones, though it's marketed for light undertones. Might suit those with deep undertones and cool summer undertones. As someone who only looks good in extreme pink, even the color doesn't appeal to me. It's a pink with coral undertones, or rather just coral. Worse, it looks odd if you apply too much. I want to apply it freely... It's only somewhat okay if applied sparingly. Was shocked by how intense the color was when first applied. Must apply in small amounts.. Completely different from the website swatches. The website showed it as a pure pink... Don't be fooled... ❌ Blemishes Dries out lips and feels tight, even considering it's a matte lip product ❌ Not Recommended For Just not recommended in general - se***********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 11, 2023
The color payoff is truly incredible! As someone with full lips that tend to chap easily, application is crucial for me. This lipstick glides on smoothly, which I love. There's no settling into fine lines either. For matte lip enthusiasts, I highly recommend this. It's the perfect shade for my summer cool tone. When worn alone, it gives a muted pink look, like a splash of pink milk - so pretty! Use it as a base and dab a hotter pink on top for irresistibly kissable lips. There was a tiny bit of emphasis on dead skin cells. I guess that's unavoidable with matte lipsticks. However, I found that applying lip balm first, then wiping away any flaky bits with a damp wipe before application works well. So, for me, there are hardly any downsides! For those of you who like to apply tint boldly, don't hesitate! Use this 4th Dimension shade as a base, then dab on a more intense color on top. I bet everyone will be asking what lip products you're using!
