Color: The outer appearance of the tube is almost black, raising expectations. However, the actual color payoff disappoints. When applied, it's just an ordinary burgundy shade - a common color you can easily find everywhere. The color is sheer, so it can't be helped. Even with multiple layers, it doesn't become as deep and dark as the packaging suggests. Texture: It doesn't adhere well to the lips, so only those who don't mind it transferring should use it. Naturally, the staying power isn't great. LAKA's promotions are really all or nothing, so it's best to keep an eye out for sales. If you miss a sale, you might be better off looking for people selling it cheaper on secondhand apps who bought it during a sale. It's great that they have big sales for new product launches, but they rarely have sales at any other time, which creates a huge price gap. There aren't many other retailers that stock it either, so it's hard to take advantage of platform discounts. They might have a buy-one-get-one-free sale twice a year at most, so if LAKA catches your eye at the wrong time, it can be really frustrating. A cool plum-colored glowy lipstick. Highly recommended as an accent lip color for those with cool undertones. Its lightweight feel makes it perfect for on-the-go application and easy to swipe on. Disappointingly, it's not as deep as expected. Feels somewhat common. The glow is natural, so those wanting a glossy 'tanghulu' effect should pass. The value for money isn't particularly impressive either. Recommended to purchase during buy-one-get-one-free promotions.
