I think I'll need to use it for a longer period to really tell.
ConsPlease make sure to give yourself an adjustment period. On the fifth day, I applied a lot and ended up suffering from contact dermatitis.

However, using this from the start might cause skin irritation.
ConsFor those with sensitive skin, applying this can immediately cause skin reactions and intense tingling sensations.

The more I use this routine, the more my skin glows, and I've been told my complexion has improved significantly. I highly recommend it!
ConsThe absorption could be slightly better. It can feel a bit dry when applying, so make sure to follow up with a hydrating moisturizer at the end of your routine. I suggest starting with a small amount when you first use it. Otherwise, you might experience a tingling sensation and redness. Once your skin adapts, you can gradually increase the quantity.

Even though I have oily skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. When my skin feels sensitive, mixing it with a hydrating moisturizer seems to work well.
ConsThe aluminum tube can potentially tear at the folded areas if repeatedly creased. Also, if you close the cap too tightly, the opening may deform over time, causing the cap to spin loosely without properly closing.

Hydration: For oily skin types, using this product after a serum provides enough moisture that you might not need an additional moisturizer.
ConsComparing this to the 0.1 product from the same brand: Irritation: The higher concentration definitely caused irritation. It was the first time I experienced irritation from a skincare product. Initially, my eyelids stung terribly. It was so uncomfortable that I couldn't even apply sunscreen in that area. When I tried avoiding the eye area, I experienced an overall burning sensation and stinging on my face, making it impossible to apply other products. I had to stop using it. After my skin returned to normal, I tried again, but the stinging and flaking returned, forcing me to discontinue use once more. Blemishes: One of the most satisfying aspects of the 0.1 product was how it reduced acne and improved skin texture, with really noticeable results. However, this product didn't seem to have the same level of effectiveness. It's puzzling and surprising how such a difference in concentration can lead to such different outcomes.
TipThis product is not suitable for those with sensitive skin. Even though I don't typically have sensitive or delicate skin, I couldn't adapt to it. I recommend starting with the 0.1 product first.

I was on the fence about trying this retinol product due to its affordable price for the concentration, when I lucked out and got selected as a Hwahae Tester! My skin had become noticeably drier, leading to more fine lines and dead skin cells. Being on the curvier side, I noticed the creases on my neck getting so deep they were turning into proper folds. At first, I almost wrote this off due to incorrect usage, but once I found the right method for me, it solved all my recent skin concerns! Improved skin cell turnover: Whether I finished with a light or rich layer, the dead skin cells around my nose and cheeks would always show through, even with sunscreen, makeup, or night cream. Now, they're completely gone! Reduced fine lines: The fine lines under my eyes and across my forehead were really noticeable, but they've improved more than I expected. I can't believe how effective it's been! Acne scar improvement: This was unexpected, but the red marks left by acne have faded. Areas that were just red are now almost invisible, and even the deeper scars have reduced in size. For example, where I had a mole removed that left a red, indented scar - the indentation is still there, but the redness is gone!
ConsThis will likely apply to most first-time retinol users: Not knowing any better, I slathered it on like regular moisturizer for three days straight. My face and neck broke out in severe, angry red hives. I'd been using so many soothing products lately that I didn't consider how potent retinol can be.
TipBe careful not to overuse it like I did. I now use it every two or three days, as daily consecutive use doesn't work for me. On days when my skin feels a bit off, I either skip it or mix it with my usual soothing cream.

With its high retinol content and good value for money, this could be a great product if used correctly following the instructions!
ConsPossibly due to the high retinol concentration, I experienced significant dead skin cells shedding the day after use, but only in the areas where I applied it. It seems crucial to follow the recommended amount and allow for an adequate adjustment period when using this product.
Tip- Store in the refrigerator after opening (3-10°C) - Use the product at night and always apply sunscreen during the day - Allow for a skin adaptation period when first using: : Use every 2-3 days for 2 weeks, then every other day after 3 weeks

Skin texture: Using a small amount before bed makes my skin look smooth and healthy the next day. Fragrance: I liked that it's almost fragrance-free. Wrinkle improvement: My mom thinks it's effective, but I can't say for sure after just 1-2 weeks of use. I'll leave another review after using it for a longer period!
ConsIrritation: When I got greedy and used a bit too much (about the size of a bean), I developed some red spots that weren't quite blemishes or acne. It also stings a lot, especially when applying sunscreen the next day. Blemishes: I got a few pimples. However, I'm not sure if it's due to this product or because I've been drinking a lot recently, so I'll need to use it more to be certain. Dryness: I don't usually feel dryness easily, but with this, the area around my mouth gets extremely dry and more irritated. Though I've heard retinol can cause dryness naturally.
TipAlways apply sunscreen. Don't get greedy with the amount from the start.

The instructions said to use a pea-sized amount, which made me worry it might be too harsh on my skin. Unfortunately, it seems this product just isn't right for me. It's practically fragrance-free - you can barely smell anything. Absorbs well into the skin. Recommended for those who don't have issues with retinol. Fairly hydrating. The next day, my pores seemed more refined and my skin felt firmer.
ConsI used it every other day, and even though they recommended using an amount the size of a bean, I only used a tiny bit - about the size of a BB gun pellet, as you can see in the photo. The next day was fine, but on the morning after that, the areas where I applied it - around my eyes and forehead - started to peel, with white flakes appearing. I applied moisturizer and cica balm, so it didn't feel dry, but after the peeling, the areas where I applied it felt slightly stinging and sore. I stopped using it for 2-3 days, and now I'm using even less than shown in the photo, not every other day but once every 3-4 days in the evening after cleansing. Also, in the areas where I used this product, concealer and foundation won't adhere to my skin when I'm doing my makeup. It's like those areas are bare skin, and the makeup just sits on top. I'm not sure why this is happening.
TipEven if your skin isn't as dry as mine, I think it would be good to apply plenty of oil-free moisturizer!

I'm hopeful that with continued use, I'll see even smoother skin. I can't wait for my skin to adapt to retinol so I can apply it daily! I don't have before and after photos, but I took this picture the day after my first application because my makeup looked so good. It's just a basic camera shot.
ConsMy skin became dry and felt very irritated the next day. It was so uncomfortable that I went to work bare-faced with just a mask on. Ironically, these side effects might actually increase its effectiveness since I'm not wearing makeup! But seriously, my skin really hurts!
TipDue to the skin irritation, I did some research. During the adjustment period, it's recommended to apply the product 30 minutes after cleansing and rinse it off after 15 minutes. Interestingly, there's no discomfort when I apply it, but the next day, my skin stings when I use other skincare products. I can't apply anything else! I hope my skin adapts quickly.
