The formula glides on smoothly and matte. It's great for use as a statement lip color. There is some dead skin buildup, and it's more opaque and darker than expected. - rh*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
It's pretty decent. It has that signature Bbia velvet tint feel, and I personally prefer it over Peripera's Ink. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but since it has a neutral tone, it might be challenging for lighter skin tones. - ge*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsFeb 18, 2025
A true velvety texture that's genuinely luxurious, yet feels moisturizing. Its coverage is so impressive, it's almost like a concealer for your lips, effectively evening out your lip tone. The color is an absolutely stunning shade. It does transfer quite a bit... This seems to be characteristic of velvet formulas. While the powdery texture provides excellent coverage for the lips, it also means it's prone to smudging and transferring. A pretty decent shade... Even though I have a light undertone, when mixed with other lip products, it can transform even incompatible tints into perfect cool-toned deep shades. - fl************Dry SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 18, 2024
The ultimate base lip product for deep undertones! It covers lip stains with a rich layer and matches your natural lip color almost perfectly. The texture is quite thick... As it's an older tint formula, don't expect it to be super blurry or thin like modern formulations. - ee******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 5, 2024
When I first swatched it on my hand, it applied smoothly and felt velvety soft. The color is absolutely gorgeous! It also has minimal transfer. If you haven't exfoliated, it might accentuate dead skin cells a bit. Exfoliate before applying, and it'll look even more beautiful and last longer without emphasizing any flakiness! - 3d*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2024
These tints have a powdery finish when applied. They have excellent staying power and the colors are fantastic. I often use the deep undertone as a base, which gives a lovely muted look. The formula can go on a bit thick, unfortunately. But I just can't give up on BBIA tints! I use it as a base lip color and then add a glossy tint on top for a pop! It's not as intense as some other products, but it's still absolutely gorgeous While it might feel a bit light when used alone, it still has its own unique charm - am*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 7, 2024
The BBIA Last Velvet Tint has always been my go-to lip product. I decided to try the Respect Edition when it came out. The shade 'Quite Good Fig' has a delicate color reminiscent of the inside of a fig, but when applied to the lips, it looks more like a peachy nude. Compared to the original Last Velvet Tint, this one feels a bit oilier... Perhaps because it's a winter edition. I preferred the texture of the previous version. The longevity and application were better too. Additionally, it's disappointing that the Respect Edition rarely goes on sale, and it's not available at Olive Young, making it less accessible. I could only purchase some from the Hwahae shopping platform because they weren't on sale, so I couldn't get them all... Plus, there's shipping costs... I was hoping to buy when BBIA had a sale on Hwahae shopping, but as expected, this line wasn't discounted. - gk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 5, 2023
A sophisticated and atmospheric fig beige color The newly released 'Quite Good' line swatches on the back of the hand as shown in the photo, but when applied to the lips, it appears more subdued and delicate. If vibrant shades don't suit you, or if you're looking for a calm, autumnal lip color for fall and winter, this could be a great choice. The BBIA tint has a cream-velvet texture. Thanks to its soft cream formula, it doesn't feel particularly drying. The staying power is also quite good, with minimal transfer. The scent is similar to the artificial candy-like fragrance of previous colors, but slightly less intense. However, it's still quite noticeable, so those sensitive to strong fragrances should be cautious. Personally, I find the BBIA velvet tint to have my favorite texture and decent staying power, so I don't have any major complaints.
